Hey guys... it has been a long time since I've been on this board.
I'm looking for any candidate BMW I could use to run in the 24hrs of LeMons. Main requirement is that I cannot pay more than $500 for the car. I would prefer it was in the PA, OH, WV, VA, NY, NJ area as I could pick it up myself. I know plenty about e30s, e28s... e36 and e34s, too, but they are probably out of the $500 price range.
I'm gonna try and track down a couple BMW salvage yards in the area. The $500 doesn't include wheel/tires, brake pads/rotors, or the safety cage.
Anyone else have any experience with this?
