FS: 1991 318is Sterling Silver / Gray Cloth Interior

1991 318is Professionally Painted Sterling Silver / Gray Cloth Interior
When I bought this car 2.5 years ago, I told myself that I will keep it forever and use is as a daily driver. Well, after being infected by the mod bug, and investing quite a lot of time and money, I’m ready to move to another project.

This E30 is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It’s very light, and with the suspension setup, it handles amazingly. The only reason I’m selling it is to buy an E30 M3.

    Here are the specs:

    Suspension:

    Bilstein sport shocks.
    H&R OE Sport Springs.
    E46 M3 shock mounts.
    New OE E30 M3 bushings.
Suspension Techniques front and rear antiroll bars.
Custom E60 M5 rear suspension links.
Power steering lines replaced in early June, 2012.

    Exterior:
Professionally stripped and painted in March , 2012.
    Euro headlights with City Lights.
    Is sideskirts and front lip.

    Interior:
Original gray cloth interior (no rips anywhere).
    Euro M-Tech II steering wheel.
    ZHP weighted shift knob.
    No cracked dash.
    BMW (Z3) Business CD player.
    New antenna mast and grommet.

    Brakes:
Rear Bremo drilled rotors and Pagid Red pads.
Front rotors and pad still from when I bought the car (Front Bremo rotors and Pagid pads set will be included in the sale for future replacement).

    Wheels:
    ESM 002R 16x8 all around.
    215/45/16 Kumho Ecstas ASX.

    Engine and Performance:
    91, 2xx original miles m42 engine.
    Dinan Chip.
Custom cold air intake by Komotors.
UUC Performance clutch and pressure plate (upgraded at 80k miles).

    Head gasket recently replaced.
    New OE exhaust.
    A/C updated to R-134a Refrigerant.

Pending Issue: NONE. Moon roof tilts but it does not open (It was fixed by tightening loose sunroof handle).

Other than that, everything works and the car needs nothing. I’m the 3rd owner and I bought the car from an older gentleman from Gettysburg. PA when it had 67k miles. I have invested over $9K on upgrades and maintenance, but it’s time to move to another project. If you are looking for a clean daily driver, or a nice Sunday car, this is the car for you!
Please serious buyers only. THE ONLY TRADE I WOULD CONSIDER IS AN E30 M3 + CASH on my end.

Mechanical work done by my friend's shop; MS Euro Tuning in Princeton, NJ
Paint job done by World Class Auto Body, in New Brunswick, NJ

Asking Price: X,000. The car is located in Central NJ.

Looks like a sharp car. Maybe some interior picks would help your ad.

Why not swap an s14 engine or even an s52?

Sweet, more pics please! Interior, engine bay, etc.

Any rust on the car? Battery compartment is good? Shock towers, lower fenders, etc.?

I paid top dollar for this car when I bought it because it had, and still has, no rust. :)

^^^ yeah you are... it will however be hard to find someone who has that cash for a 318is... lot of money in parts alone in this car and very rare in sterling silver! Beautiful car

good luck with the sale, wish i could buy it

                      glasig,

Thanks for unhijacking my FS post. And you are right, between parts and the paint job, I spent more than I'm trying to get.

If the right buyer doesn't come, I will just enjoy the car for another year or so.
