    1991 318is silver/black - 160k - 5sp - $1600

I just had this posted up for $2500. My Mcoupe developed some problems and I need the garage space to do engine work asap.

    -1991 318is
    -160k
    -5 speed
    -LSD
    -Clean title
    -sunroof

    The good:

-Runs well, clutch doesn't slip, no leaks or strange noises from motor.
    -No mods.
    -odometer works and accurate.
    -Recent cooling system work done.
    -New exhaust.
    -New fuel lines.
-Solid interior, no cracks on upper portion of dash
-Looks pretty okay from 10 feet away.
    -ebrake holds.
    -Windows work.

    The bad:

-Just a day ago it stopped wanting to idle well, even though it was in completely fine shape and as you can see in the video, idled fine before. Probably an ICV or vaccuum leak, but I do not want to mess with it because my coupe has a bigger priority at the moment.
-The body is meh. It has been repainted, and in Maaco fashion- not too well. I won't point out all body imperfections as they're numerous.
-Has rust, although none in towers or critical areas. Worst is the trunk.
-Once the car has been warm for some time, I've noticed the temp. gauge bounce sporadically between the 1/4th and 3/4ths mark. However, on an 85 degree day it didn't overheat in 45 minutes of stop and go traffic.
-Tires have good tread, but are old and should be replaced.
    -No radio.
-Driver's seat stuck and won't move forward or back (but it does recline).
-Interior blower only works on 4.
    -lower portion of dash cracked.
-Front right wheel bearing is rather loud.
    -Horn inoperative.

I think it's a pretty comprehensive list about the car. It's far from perfect, and it's definitely not for someone who is picky about aesthetics. Fix a few things and have yourself a cheap runner that you can thrash without feeling guilty.

Price is $1600. Not more, not less.

    Seriously, $1600.

It was $2500 a few weeks ago.

It turns on, drives, stops, turns, doesn't leak.

I'll trade the entire car for an S52 motor.

ive have seen and daily driven some rickity raggedy E30's and this from the pictures does not appear to be a beater, the problems seem minor, the rust does not appear to be devastating if you would want to repair it and the interior is black and in nice shape.

glws and hers a free bump wishing i had $1600... your taking a financial hit at $1600!

Shit that interior is worth that. I am looking for a beater e30. Way to far. :(
