For sale is my 1988 BMW M3 in Zinno Red color and black interior. I can talk hours about this cars and e30 in general so I'll try to make it as short as possible. I am here to sell this car as I have very good experience with ebay, as well as all buyers who bought cars from me in the past.
Car has 145k miles and it may get more since I and my better half are using this car on our Sunday trips. 7 years ago the car has finished its daily driver's duty and since then has been treated as a collector car. Car is blast to drive and it can be driven everywhere. I drove this car between states many times and enjoyed every minutes of it. The best part of the car is that it was always treated special, have never been neglected or left broken, always fixed at the time so I haven't had to restore it or take it off of the road. Therefore 90% things in the car is original from the time when it left the factory. I received with the car all original books and receipts.
Car is almost stock; however I introduced few "era correct" improvements to it:
· EVO air box
· Scorpion exhaust
· 5 stop light mod
· Billstein / H&R sport suspension
· Euro front bumper covers
Car came with Racing Dynamic package which included rims 17x8 and steering wheel. There is also Dinan chip installed by a dealer few years ago.
ENIGINE:
Car has still its original s14 engine with correct VIN on cam box. There are no changes to the engine except the M3 e36 tensioner. There are no leaks as I removed two of them last year.

BODY:
Car was never hit and all panels are original with VIN stickers. ALL. Paint is original but lower part of front bumper and a passenger door, which had to be re-sprayed long time ago and both I and previous owner do not know the reason for it, however the door has original VIN sticker. CAR HAS NO RUST. It is my second M3 e30 so I kind of knew what I was looking for this time. Windshield cowl and license plate areas are free of rust. The battery tray is free of rust. Plastic pieces (bumpers and mirrors) are kind of darker/faded due to age, but it is not that visible. Side skirts don't shine as M3 e30 came originally this way. Rear spoiler has these little cracks and it's faded. I purchased another one in same color with no cracks, but it needs re-spray too. Eventually I wanted to get the EVO spoiler with flap, but it didn't happened. A windshield has still original factory stickers. There are two stone chips on the windshield from my trip through the mountains of West Virginia. Headlights are nice and clear and are updated with newer brighter bulbs. Both original fog lights had cracks, so I bought brand new OEM fog lights. All parts in general from original what this car had leaving the factory.
INTERIOR:
Still original interior is great and it was kept nicely. As you can see on the pictures it is complete and nothing is missing. The leather was cleaned and freshened regularly, but car resided in hot climate so the seats have wear, but they are much better with my other 2 M3's e36 with similar miles. No cracks or holes. Knob shifter is original and the leather on it is worn. There is old school aftermarket stereo system which I like it. The trunk has built in audio system with three equalizers and what not. Everything works. As you can see in the pictures everything was fitted professionally with aesthetic touch. There is a 6 discs cd changer under the passenger seat.
ELECTRICAL:
There were no electrical issues with the car during my ownership. Car always starts, ALL gauges work correctly, all interior lights work correctly. Onboard Computer works and lights on. Check computer works as well with no problems displayed. Car has aftermarket alarm and remote control which work. Car has automatic start but I do not use it.
MECHANICAL:
Car has original S14 engine which is fantastic. Always starts first time. Does not smoke and is FAST. Last year I have done some small overhaul which had included:
· Two oil pans removal and reseal
· M3 e36 tensioner installation
· New vacuum hoses,
· New coolant hoses and reservoir
· Coolant flush
· New (rebuilt) updated BNR alternator
· Power Steering fluid flush
· A/C overhaul and conversion into R134
· New tie rods end, end link sway bars + new alignment.
· Oil cooler replaced (the old one was damaged due to hitting the item left on the highway)
Previously it had done:
· H&R/billstein installation
· New steering rack
The car brakes great even though the brakes weren't touched for few years and last 7k miles. ABS Works as it should. Car is fast and is stable on the highway as well is reliable when sitting in the traffic. Starts every time and in general is solid.
I sure am forgetting some stuff as I bought hundreds of small things for this car from PelicanParts and have receipts for it.
WHAT I DIDN'T DO:
· I couldn't find any proof of when the differential and transmission fluids were replaced. So I bought the RedLine Shockproof (?) for tranny and another RedLine (forgot what kind) as recommended, but never got into doing it. All fluids will go with the car.
· As mentioned, the plastic pieces as well as passenger door could be painted to match the color. I am impressed by its originality, therefore I didn't touch it, but this is full disclosure auction and I want to sell the car with no disappointments to anyone.
· There are stone chips on the front bumper, hood and fenders
· There is a little dent on the front left fender next to the headlight
· Front fenders were rubbed by the owner before previous owner, who bought too big tires for the car and simply damaged the paint on front fenders and liners. The paint is cracked on the edges of front fenders.
· Car needs tires - old tires are 7 years old. Time for new ones no matter the thread.
· There was a very little leak from the seal at selector rod on top of transmission. I bought the seal, but never got around it and it will go with the car. It could be done with flushing the fluid in transmission.
· Unfortunately the A/C started to act weird. There has to be a leak because I refilled the freon in the system and AC worked for few weeks and then died again.
I will add into the description when I put my hands on the car's folder.
AUCTION DISCLOUSURE:
The female model stays at home. I am not that desperate J
The car is being offered for sale in other media so I may close the auction at any time. I can meet every interested party in Holland Tunnel area on New Jersey side. No trades. No riders. I can make the car available for inspection every day after 6:30pm or weekend at any time. No one will drive the car but me. If you have any question please send message over the ebay. No financing, I am private owner and car enthusiast.
