    1995 BMW 540i 6 Speed- Koni/Ground Control/LSD/Hawk

    1995 BMW 540i - Build Date - April of 1995
    6 Speed Get-rag Manual Transmission
153k Original Miles - will go up, still a daily driver
    Clean title
    Grey Exterior - 8/10
    Dove Leather Interior - 8/10
    Heat works great
    A/C Blows cold
BMW Keyless Alarm/Keyless Entry still works great
    All Electronics work

    Power Mods -
    K&N Panel Filter
    Muffler Delete
    3.15 Limited Slip Differential
Alusil M60B40 ( for the people who dont know, this is the engine to have )

    Suspension Mods -
    Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks
Ground Control E34 Coilovers ( Over $1,300 for this setup, installed in house at ground control in southern cal)
    E30 Front Camber Plates
KMAC Rear Trailing Arm Bushings to adjust camber
Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushings - Polyurethane
    Derlin Subframe Bushings

    Brakes -
    New Brembo Blank Rotors
    Hawk HPS Front brake pads
    Axis Metal Master rear pads
    ATE Super Blue brake fluid

    Transmission -
E36 M3 Short Shifter w/ modded shift level

Maintenance - Replaced recently - most parts on this car only have about 20k on it, at most
Front and Rear end has complete bushings replaced, and I mean everything.
    New Motor mounds
    New Fog Light lenses
    Steering Idler Arms
    Tie Rods
    Sway Bar Links
Upper and Lower Control Arm bushings
    Timing Cover Gasket
    NGK Spark Plugs
Inner and Outer Valve Cover gaskets
    4 OEM Knock Sensors
8 Rebuilt Design 3 Fuel Injectors
High and Low Pressure Power steering Lines
Oil Pan gasket - Oil Pump problem already addressed. Oil Pump bolts have lock tight on them so they dont back out. Common M60 engine issue.
    New Front wheel hubs
    New Pilot bearing
    Transmission input shaft seal
Most Transmission components are new ( master cylinder, slave cylinder, hard lines, soft lines, reservoir)
    Redline Tranny Fluid
    Redline Diff Fluid
    Royal Purple 15w-40 Engine Oil
    BMW/Wixx/Mann Oil filters
    Shift boot
    Shift knob

    Bling -
35W Hids on the stock Elipsoids
    Window Tint
Alpine Deck - Plays MP3 w/ AUX Plug
    All Speakers/AMPs work great
    M5 Rear Filler Plate
Painted Front Kidney Grills - Black

    Cons -
Driver rear window is not functional - motor dead, typical E34 issue. I'm lucky its only one window..
One rear lock motor is dead - I usually just leave it locked, rarely do people sit back there and when they do I just open/close it manually.
Couple dings and dents and scratches around the car. Don't expect a new car.
"Low Beam" error light because of HID bulb voltage is lower than standard halogen bulbs. Never cared, but there are write ups on how to delete this error code.
    Will need replacement driver fender

Car starts up every time. Never overheats, comfy, fast, looks good. Car handles great for a four door sedan, puts sports cars to shame especially with the suspension, brakes and six speed. I average 18-20 MPGs. Gets 25 MPGs on the freeway, ultimate highway cruiser. Four liter V8 makes great power matched with the 6 speed makes it fun to drive. V8 sounds amazing through the gears.

Poor mans V8 M5, ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. Car needs nothing mechanically, was going to put wheels on it next with more sticky tires. Just got back from a 2k mile road trip. Car had NO issues, A/C was blasting the whole way.

    Smog will be buyers responsibility

Email for quick response - lamSTUHH@yahoo.com

    Picture Link - E34 - a set on Flickr

note that pictures do not show driver fender damage

    Price is 4,500

    Thanks

it can go very lower... its the max height right now, which sits like a inch lower than stock all around.

The two front shocks are brand new btw, i got two new units from koni last week and I installed them

                  what do you have?
