-m50b25tu swap....pulled from junkyard e36 (unknown mileage)
-runs 20w50 Mobil 1 Synthetic
-new 80* m20 thermostat
-spark plugs recently replaced
-OBDII tubular manifolds
Drivetrain:
-Getrag g250 tranny (4th gear no worky)
-14 lbs lightened m20 flywheel
-m20 clutch
-325e driveshaft
-3.xx LSD diff (pulled from junkyard with no tag)
Suspension:
-Upgraded to late model front strut bodies
-new front wheel bearings and strut bearings
-new lower control arms
-new M3 offset CAB's
-FK 60/40 lowering springs
-Bilstein Sport Front Shocks
-FK rear shocks
NEEDS WORK:
-4th gear fix on tranny
-needs front tires
-exhaust leak
-cracked windsheild
-leaky tailights
-passenger side window no worky
I bought the car in 2008 with unknown mileage and have driven it as a project/DD since 09. It needs some bodywork to the rear taillight panel and the hood as a result of a couple low speed fender benders. The front bumper is also dented at the front but a plate hides it nicely :)
I swapped the motor late 2010. The g250 tranny from the e36 is pretty crappy and it wasn't long before 4th gear went out. The engine pulls strong and hard but suffers from an exhaust leak in which I have the gaskets to fix. The exhaust runs through a cheapo flowmaster style muffler w/ no cat. It gurgles, blurps, and spits like a wild cat. It's pretty loud but fun. I'm looking for $3300 obo
It is wet in these pics and needs a good clay and wax to be this shiny FIY!
