    FT: 2001 S2000 - sr20, vmount, DSS, S&W, etc

this is just a feeler for trades!

I picked up this car recently and have big plans to finish it up and rebuild the motor, but a business opportunity came up and I need to sell my currently daily and stop spending money on projects

I am looking to trade for a nice daily / trackable M but open to offers. This car has a TON invested but also has some issues

    Short list of mods..

    ~60,000 miles
    Clean title
    s14 sr20

    Drivetrain:
    s14 sr20
    s15 injectors
    JWT ecu
    circuit sports fuel rail
    -6an lines
sikky motor / trans mount kit
    z32 r200 diff (welded)
Drive shaft shop stage VI axles
    Drive shaft shop drive shaft
    drive shaft shop hubs
    inline pro mounting brackets
    HKS clutch
    Mishimoto rad
    -16an coolant lines
    Greddy FMIC (V-Mount)
    oil cooler & -8an lines
    3" exhaust / DP

    Suspension
    Tein circuit mast RS's
    custom knuckles
    megan toe arms
    adjustable ball joints
    aeromotive FPR

    Exterior:
    carbon fiber hood
    carbon fiber trunk
    APR gt200 wing / struts
    FD RX7 steering rack

    Interior
stock seats, but only temporary mounts
    S&W roll bar welded in
    Sparco steering hub
Autometer tach, oil psi, boost, water temp gauges (stock dash cant be used)

Much more and stupid amounts of money invested..

    BAD

How you see the car is how I bought it. The previous owner blew the motor because of a bad CAS and just wanted to cut his losses.

I checked compression and its visible in the pics below (25 / 0 / 80 / 100). Its a relatively cheap and easy fix.

The driver front fender has some dents but I am planning on going widebody anyway. Its almost required in order to use the knuckles and any aggressive wheels.

The interior is in pieces and I am slowly putting it all back (taken apart in pics because I am checking wiring). I found a few wrecked S2000's on the forums but nothing local. If I find a local one I will make this look nearly mint again.

Cash price is really tough... I could do $9000 since its rough, but theres well over $40k into it

Throw some rings in the motor, pick up widebody fenders and sell for 20k!

i would have kept the f20. That SR is older than most kids driving them :/

                  GL brodo

EDIT: how could someone destroy a car like that. What a hack job.

The s14 sr20 was made in 1998, the f20 was 2001... 3 yrs has no affect on performance

Sr20 is low compression, built for boost, and one of the most solid platforms... Not to mention parts are.cheap and power is easy to find

F20 is like a winey kid... No guts, horrible torque curve, and super spendy

you can make a easy 475 easy with stock f20 motor and 350 torqs @ 14 psi on a dyno dynamics real horse power to wheels 500 + on a dyno jet

its just a shame the f20 is gone

F20 is definitely cool and the bottom end is super strong... But its in an ae86 now.

Its more of trying something different honestly... Thats what modding cars is all about!
