I have a question, why are you driving the car TO northern california to sell it?

I am literally going to drive mine to oregon to sell it and I think it will go for 1000 more. In the humboldt area I literally see no one buy bmws way nicer than yours for 2000$, not even getting offers.
I watched a 94 e36 for sale on craigslist for 1200 for about a month and a half before someone bought it, probably from a long ways away.
Thats not trying to bag on you. I sell about 8 cars a year here in northern california. particularly sacramento, I would actually drive there 300 miles to buy a car the economy is so bad there cars go for pennies a dollar there.

all of the central valley is well documented as being some of the brokest areas in the whole country.


Its funny Im putting together an informal business of buying cars in northern california and selling them in washington one at a time.

Well... It's cause I'm moving.

However, I've been having bites left and right; I just posted my e30 yesterday on the San Francisco and Sacramento Craigslist for a little more than its posted here and already had 2 people come out and see the car; both of them said they would get back to me sometime today. Another guy is supposed to come later; says he's really interested, and wants to leave me a deposit.

However, I still don't have cash in hand or a deposit, so it's anyone's ballgame

As much as I love SoCal, I never had this kind of action down south. I would have hardly guessed people are broke out here (on guy pulled up in an incredible Dinan e46 M3 and the other guy in a Stage 3 Race Modded Viper he picked up a couple days ago). I guess I'm just attracting the people with money because my car is really clean and well documented
