    '91 318is with Body Kit

I am selling the project car that I bought to work on for my son's first car. He's not holding up his end of the bargain and so the project is just sitting around and not getting completed.

    The Good -
engine installed, bought from member here doing an engine swap and has coil on plug conversion and performance chip. Was his daily driver.
    Only 127K miles
    Full Body Kit
lowered with Strut Tower braces front/rear
New rubber on 17" Mille Miglia rims (one spare with a ding)
    New Clutch
Interior in fantastic condition, NO cracks in the dash, only the drivers seat is split, BMW sport seats.
Brand new stereo / speaker system

Car was running and only needed one final thing for daily driving (weld the rear shock tower). Currently, battery is draining, relay-protected items (fan blower, power windows, power locks) aren't getting power. Starter soleniod clicking but not turning over. Suspect a ground problem. Again, my son isn't putting money aside for insurance, repairs, etc. so it's time to get it out of my garage. I have my own cars to maintain.

Needs the ground issue sorted and the left rear shock tower mount has separated from tub. Needs to be re-welded.

Needs Paint / RF fender to make it look great but not to drive.

Worth a lot parted out but I don't have the time. Make an offer. Call / Text (410) 459-4850. Email/PM me for pics - eric@theruperts.net

In the add he says its fairly common for the shock tower to seperate from the body.... anybody ever see this happen? I heard of e36s doing it....

either way seams like an awful lot for a parts car/ car that needs major structural work
