WTB: Clean, maintained E30 cab vert near So Cal up to $8K

Looking for a clean, well-maintained E30 cabriolet convertible with a clean title. 5 speed preferred. No rips in the interior or cracks in the instrument panel. Working AC, clear rear window, recent timing belt, etc. Stock or factory-looking mods. Not a big fan of black. Willing to travel in the western U.S. for the right car and pay up to $8K.

Please contact me through the e-mail system here rather than PM.

    Thanks

P.S. Already posted similar ads on bimmerforums and socalE30. I should have started here! ;)

Thanks. Yeah, ugh, too much body kit. While I'm no expert on these cars yet, that front hood lip seems especially tacked-on and offensive. 140K and an auto are not too exciting either. I think I would do an auto only if every other aspect of the car is perfect. So it's not a deal-killer, but close.

I might be interested in the wheels. Were there ever 15" bottle caps or good replicas made?

most of that car isn't an aftermarket body kit. if you look at my build thread you can see that i have one. and for those mtech2 cars you want 16-17" rims.
if you dont like all that body paneling. try getting a 1991.5-1993 vert. because, for that budget don't settle for a metal bumper car.

That's great advice which confirms what I've been told before. I like the looks of the later cars more, so I just need to be patient and picky :)
