SOLD - 1989 325is turbo (panama city, FL)

    Details are after pics...

This is "DSC 2585" by gronkowski on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Solid car with clean title and 130k miles when odometer stopped.
The 2.5 liter straight six cylinder engine (M20B25) was removed, rebuilt, and turbocharged by GoTechEFI (http://www.gotechefi.com) in January 2011. GoTechEFI installed their ProX engine management system (ECU priced at $1195) that allows a laptop connection for diagnostics and tuning.
The engine has a Cometic headgasket to cope with the extra pressure from the turbo (only boosted to 6 psi) and 40 lb-hr fuel injectors (seems high, it is what shaun at Gotech told me) to provide more fuel . It has the CXracing kit with stainless steel tubular exhaust manifold with 3"exhaust from the manifold all the way back. Front mounted intercooler with blow-off-valve by SPA so the car still has AC condenser, oil cooler and AC fan in their original placement. The clutch was replaced with a new F1 Racing stage 3 ceramic clutch (http://f1racingclutchsystem.com/products/stg3.html). The 5 speed manual transmission is quiet. Shifter has short shift kit installed.

The car's body is in good shape with the exception of fading paint, a couple of dings and a little surface rust on the hood around the emblem and some on the sunroof. The engine bay, wheel wells and underbody are in great shape with no signs of corrosion (the car has been in FL for it's entire life I think).
Interior has cracked dash and worn driver's seat bolster, I bought a nicer used steering wheel for $120 recently as the previous one had no leather wrapping left and I replaced the worn ignition cylinder with a brand new one last month.
The CD player is new (usb, aux, mp3) but the speakers have been removed, the car is factory wired for a rear amplifier.
The driver's side rear wheel bearing was replaced recently but the passenger side might need replacing soon and the AC needs a leak test/charge - it was working when I bought the car in Feb. 2011 but now it no longer holds a charge.
I have a brand new duracell battery with a 3 yr. warranty from Sam's club.

I'd love to keep the car but we have too many vehicles and we have a kid on the way so I gotta get rid of some toys.. for now. This car was my daily driver from Feb. 2011 to Feb. 2012.

No shift in the video? You know people want to hear that BOV! And please press your check button. That blinking light bugs me. I always have my copilot hit the check button. There are responsibilities when your the copilot of my e30. Such as holding the light and helping to push from time to time.
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

intercooler sticking outside of the bumper/valance is an accident waiting to happen.

When I let off the gas, the manifold pressure released via the BOV but the camera didn't pick it up. Unfortunately, the check light always blinks since the car has standalone computer.

I don't think a plastic valence in front of the intercooler would provide much protection in the event of an accident, if that is what you mean. It could use a mesh screen in front to prevent rock chips though. I wanted to move the intercooler for aesthetics but the car has all AC components and there is no where else to put it.
