'88 325i Manual 4dr - PA

A friend of a friend got the word that I have an e30 and came to me this weekend with hers that she is trying to sell. So I went to go check it out.

• '88 325i
• Manual
• 4 door
• 152k with broken odo
• 135k timing belt change
• Interior is in good shape
• A few rust spots- door wells and battery tray

Bad news- It has not been started up in 2 years and the tires are shot. She is looking for $2500....a little steep but you should be able to work out something better, she's on her way to CA and wants to get rid of it.

have you tried starting it? or do you know what its gonna need?

No idea yet, I told her to get a battery and give it a try since its going to be tough selling it not knowing if its running or not

Did she tell you why she parked it. Looks to be in decent cosmetic shape just wondering of there was a mechanical problem that caused it to be parked. Did you tell her 2500 is steep for a non running e30

I wouldn't try to start it without changing the timing belt..

She ended up getting two DUI's in the matter of one week (rough week huh?) So she had to park it and there it sat. I told her it's steep, even when we are not sure if its running or not. I told her to get a battery, inflate the tires and get it running...we'll see what she does this week.
