    (CA) '95 Alpine White on Black, 5 spd 525iT - Coil-overs, S50 cams + MUCH more!

    SOLD

So as much as I love my E34 touring, I've always wanted an E39 touring more. I have an opportunity to buy my friend's E39, so I'm posting my E34 for sale.

    Specs on the car:

    1995 Alpine White 525i Touring:
with Black Leather interior with Leather wrapped door handles and wood grain trim

***Alpine with black luxury interior is a very rare combination to find!***

204,000 miles: Yeah it's a lot, but the car was properly maintained for a good part of it's life, 70% of these were highway miles, and I've continued to keep the maintenance up-to-date.

    Clean Title

    Absolutely NO RUST

Below is a list of what's been done to the car during my ownership. All work performed by either myself, or Castro Motorsport in North Hollywood.

    New OEM flex disk/guibo
    New OEM center support bearing
    Freshly balanced driveshaft

Custom all red, candy red tail lights
Rear license plate section painted trim paint black to emmulate a euro plate filler

    Other:

New driver's side window regulator being installed next week

A bit of history on the car:

My friend's dad owned this touring about 6 years ago and made sure all maintenance was performed on the car. The car was then sold locally to a family friend who owned it for a few years, before being sold to the previous owner. Prior to the previous owner purchasing the touring, the woman that owned the car either hit something or got into a fender bender. The PO I bought the car from had the car for only 4-5 months, before selling it to me, and did not fix that damage.

I bought the touring almost a year ago and have slowly brought it up to my standards. Two months prior to selling the car, the previous owner put on new brakes front and rear (rotors and pads), a full A/C service and flushed the cooling system. Car does fine in 100+ degree stop & go traffic with the A/C on. Since the purchase, I've changed the oil with Mobil 1 10W30 Full synthetice every 4,000 miles, changed the fuel filter, front upper and lower control arm bushings, as well as various modifications. I've driven the touring 40 highway miles each day to work and back, and the only problem I had with it was with the automatic transmission. That will be gone next week and the car will be MUCH more enjoyable to drive! The car has yet to fail me and has been very reliable for over 7,000 miles.

Here are pics of the touring 2 weeks after I bought it, AFTER sourcing OEM roof racks and installing them:

***Things to note/known issues with the car***

    Paint, Body & Exterior:

The paint on the front end isn't as nice as the rest of the car, because the passenger side fender, the hood, nose panel, grille and bumper were replaced with used parts from parts cars due to previously existing front end damage. Because I never got around to respraying the replacement parts, I also never buffed or polished the rest of the car. The rest of the car would look absolutely amazing with a proper color sand and polish, along with having the front end resprayed and the rear bumper. There are also a few minor dents and dings around the car that were there already when I purchased the car. Most of the paint on the car is great for it's age, and can easily be brought back to show quality.

Also, the rear windshield wiper blade assembly has been missing from the car since I purchased it.

As is the case with most tourings, the sunroof motors don't work. This is a common problem, that I've seen with many tourings, including Chris Castro's and 6 others I inspected before purchasing mine.

Lastly, the middle bumper trim piece has a small piece that broke off when I installed the new euro trim for the sides. I can get this piece for you at my cost and install it before purchase if you're interested.

    Interior:

The headliner is beginning to sag SLIGHTLY in the rear, and the front passenger seat has issues with the adjustment functions. When the seat is reclined, the common "twisted seat" occurs, where only the left half of the seat reclines. This is fixable, there is a DIY in the E34 sub-forum to fix it. I'm a busy guy, and I simply never got around to it.

Also, the only thing that appears to work accurately on the OBC is the time and date. The Range and MPG meters are pretty inaccurate, and the temperature guage has never worked.

    PRICE: $5,500 FIRM

THE PRICE IS LISTED AS FIRM FOR A REASON. Don't bother lowballing me or wasting my time. The car is competitively priced for the condition and the parts it has. I have received an overwhelming amount of interest for the car at my asking price, so for now I wont be willing to negotiate. I know what this car is worth, I know what I have, and I also know that it will be next to impossible to find another clean Alpine White touring WITH black interior. About 95% of the Alpine tourings out there come with either grey or beige interior.

I have various sets of wheels that ARE NOT going to be included with the car. The car is available with a set of used 16x8" BBS Style 5s from the e38 7 series.

    DISCLAIMER:

Also, before anyone wastes my time, the coil-overs can be set higher for any buyer as they are adjustable. However, since the car does have coilovers set to go low, with fairly stiff spring rates, and polyurethane front control arm bushings, the ride IS considerably rougher then stock/ a mild sport spring and strut combination.

    Recent pictures of the car:

*** Decals CAN AND WILL be removed upon request.***

Again, the AC Schnitzers pictured ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE WITH THE CAR.
