I've got a great all original 1974 Super Beetle Convertible for sale, turn the key over and it starts right up and runs very well, this would be a great car to just drive and enjoy, or slam or turn into a rod. The Odometer and Speedo work well and the miles read just over 99kThis car had a restoration done back in 1998 and I was given a big folder full of all of the receipts. The paint looks great from 10 feet away but up close you can see there is definitely rust, under the paint there is bubbling, rear floor pans need to be patched and there are small quarter size patches in various places. The hood and trunk panels are in excellent condition and the rear fenders are too. The front fenders are decent and the doors are decent. The paint shines up very well though and the interior looks very nice with the exception of a few rips in the rear seat and door cards need some love. I tried to show most of the rust in the photos so please look through the folder in the link thoroughly. The convertible top is shot and the frame has surface rust that should really be ground down if used with a new top. All lights work, brakes work well including ebrake. I drove the car about 50 miles and it ran and drove very well. One thing I noticed was a slight shutter that was intermittent around 45 mph, didn't happen for long nor was it everytime, but it was always when slightly turning left...so I'd say it seems to me to be due to needing new tierods and an alignment.
In other words, the body looks presentable, the interior looks nice, but the mechanicals are in great working order and the car is a driver not a show winner.
I'm asking $2,300. OBO and the car is located at my shop Klub Vintage in Lambertville NJ. The only trades I'd be willing to entertain on this are for vintage motorcycles in running or non-running condition with cash on your end on top.
DISCLAIMER: I will include many detailed pictures in the photobucket folder below. Please be sure to look through them thoroughly and feel free to ask any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: I'm sorry but I will not have the time to answer questions on every forum that I post this and other cars on, please EMAIL any and all inquiries to:

Thanks!
