Wrong. A tastefully modded e30 can bring more than 10k. Most of the people that buy parts and change the car are not looking to get rid of it.

Matt's MT2 turbo 2 door has a SHIT ton into it that will never be recovered if he wants to sell it. Most people build a dream and enjoy it. Expense does not matter in the end if you truly love it. I think the buyer of this amazing e30 knows that from how amazing and clean it is.
