    hesitantly letting it go :(

so heres the deal, i got this 87 325i, really wanted to fix her up and make it look real nice while keeping her stock and reliable.
As i had it for about a month or so, i noted its got too many little things wrong with it that would need to be fixed up before i get the the car to how i want it, so im letting her go and going to the JDM scene where things are alot cheaper and i can get somewhere on my 9.50 an hour job.

Heres what i know is wrong according to Castros in North Hollywood whom is a very legitamite mechanic.
The car needs a new fuel filter, heat shield and a valve timing.
other than that its got minor cosmetic issues like dings, one broken fog light.
I live in Simi Valley, shoot me a text at 818 307 7991 you can come check it out when im not working or at school.

Unfortunate, but hey! maybe somebody will be able to do what i couldnt with this guy.

    Car is going for 3200
    or trade for a 240, 300zx, Mr2 turbo, or a Bently.
we can talk about the price if you note any other bad things about it im not trying to rip anybody off but i also dont wanna take a big loss seing all my financial aid went to getting this thing to pass smog, which by the way was taken a month ago.

overall, the car gets me to school and work with no problems, im just scared if i try to have 'Fun' in the car, it might poop on me and be SOL

so all thats wrong with it is it needs a fuel filter? I've been running without heat shields for years, just put a filter in and drive it? sounds way cheaper than buying another used JDM thats probably been raped by the PO.

your probably right, but theres also small things that can be fixed, but arent crucial to the car like a valve timing and brakes need to be bled, yadayadayadayada. i also wanted to turbo this m20 or do a swap, but finding everything is to hard for me. When theres an overflow of japanese markers here in california. idk i jsut feel like jdm is the cheaper route to go for my first fixed up car
