Three of us have asked for more details? Care to elaborate.

Non offensively speaking he doesn't really have to provide more details in this thread. If I was shopping for a car like this I know there aren't too many that I can choose from, the seller also knows. I think he just figures whoever is serious enough and will contact him for more info and meet with him to finish the deal.

              Who knows.

Is it throwing away potential buyers? sure.

Is stopping someone from buying this car? no.

sometimes it comes to the point of wasting everyone's time.
Not only the sellers but the buyers

many buyers are just quickly browsing. not many are willing to actually invest their time let alone their money...

While this may be true I want to know details before I consider flying out to the west coast for another roller. My 2nd one came from San Fran and I got a PPI for it from a local on the west coast. It costs about 1400 to ship a roller clear across the country.

Wouldn't you want to know details prior to considering ponying up cash?

Not trying yo clutter OP's thread just lack of details hurt.

Its best to PM him. I talked to him a couple weeks ago. I've personally been really busy to go see the car in person and try to get enough information about it before making that trip even as a local. He has Title in hand ready to be transferred. He provided a VIN and more pictures to get a better idea of the condition of the car.

From the pictures provided to me I can say that the front driver fender is sanded down a bit. The driver seat is a torn up and would need some work for the upholstery. not sure about the rest of the seats. Interior is Tan. From what I understand the car has some minor cosmetics that were being worked on to make it completely restored but was cut short due to change in plans hence the sanded fender.

from the pictures the OP posted here it looks like the sidemirrors and the roof paint is faded. not sure to what extent.

Looks really clean, The VIN, Mileage and everything else will really help a lot to the potential buyer, again looks like a very good buy never the less from the photos provided.

PM me pics of the Euro tail lights please, really interested and can pick up!
Interested to know if this car has a dent on the roof though and a picture would be better.

I can post more pictures but It is really nice to show it to it in person. So far couple people swung by to check out the car and they both said car is in good original condition. Yes seats need work, little dings here & there but absolutely no rust(one tiny spot by rear passenger window trim) roof/mirror paint isn't fading. But yes it would be better it you come check out the car in person. Thank you :)

Two people offered me $7000 picked up asap. But the lowest I will do is $8000 picked up. How I wish I have more patient to finish this project. It will be worth so much once it is all finished even after you putting money to restore. I am just impatient and not ideal person to do project like this.

Asking because I got 2nd one as mentioned above 3 years ago for slightly less but was high mileage chassis.

It came to me like this for 7K but like I said this was a few years ago.

maybe I'm being naive, but with the info posted and the rarity of these for sale ever in the first place, no less an awesome s** swap candidate. I'd fly from Canada to pick it up if I had the money. the amount you'd have to put in wouldn't out weigh the price of 8k. e30 m3's in western Canada in mint condition can fetch up to 30k at the moment. the ad is good. GLWS buddy. I'll keep dreaming.

Thanks man, yes when I was shopping for one I thought the $8500 deal was a steal. I called the guy and went to Long Beach right after I got off the phone. And here I am not trying to make money off of it. not even a penny more. actually loosing $500 on it, priced at $8000, bought for $8500.

Since the photos are somewhat "artsy" I'll assume you're a photographer?

Post a few more pictures that actually show the car, not everyone is going to be close enough to shoot right over to you to see it in person. I know I've made drives that were 2 to 5 hours to see cars that were poorly represented and I wish those sellers had posted more photos.
