I am regretfully selling my 1989 325is project car. I bought this car a few years ago and after a little while driving it decided I wanted to do a m50 /s50 swap. Well as many projects go, I gathered lots of parts and did lots of work, but haven't had the time to finish it. Now I am no longer going to be able to store it and work on it so it has to go.

Details:
1989 325is
Mileage is 160-180k haven't hooked a battery up in a long time
Currently there is no motor in the car, I do however have a complete m50/s50 hybrid motor that needs final assembly to be swapped into the car.
The swap motor is originally a m50 2.5 from 91, which apparently had bad compression, so I decided to do a rebuild and swap in s50 parts.
-M50 2.5 block
-S50 Crank
-S50 Rods
-M50 Pistons
-S50 Cams
The head has been freshly decked and cleaned and will have all the valves back in.
I have a large pile of parts to go with this build that should allow you to complete the build.
Parts:
All Gaskets for the engine
New Timing chains
M50 intake manifold w/ throttle body
m50 engine harness from e34
s50 engine harness from m3
2-m50 MAFs
e28 m5 motor mounts
Full set of coil Packs
E34 m50 oil pan
Motor Arms
Alternator
Exhaust Manifolds
Lots more misc parts
I stil have the original getrag 260 5spd trans and things that will go with the car as well.
I also have a few spare parts:
-Extra Radiator
-Electric Fan conversion
-Extra LSD diff from a 325is
The car itself has a few mods:
-e36 steering rack
-Z3 short shifter
-Massive Lee's Race front Brake kit
-Team Dynamics Motorsport Lightweight 15" wheels
-Toyo R888 R-Compound tires
-Cup kit suspension
I originally purchased this car under the impression it was extremely clean, unfortunately that wasn't the exact case, this car has the usual e30 minimal rust issues, there is a rust hole behind the license plate area and the battery box and also looks on the other side too. The battery box hole was covered up by previous owners.. The front passengers fender bottom is also rusted, by a replacement clean fender will come with the car.
The interior is very clean with no tears in the leather and the dashboard is crack free as well. When I drove the car, all functions worked well in the dash and OBC.
I obviously paid lots of money for a "clean" car, and cannot expect to recoup much of that money back, but with the extent of parts and mods that I have done to the car I am going to begin my asking price @ $3000.00 obo. Feel free to make me offers, I am open. Thank you for looking.
