WTB: e30 325i(s) SoCal

All right, my GTI 337 was totaled earlier this month and things with insurance are finally finishing up and I will have a nice check in hand by the end of the week so figured I could compile WTB thread and see what was local-ish to my area. I live in San Diego, but willing to meet up with someone as far as the LA area for the right car.

Things I'm looking for:

1988-1991 325i or 325is in anything EXCEPT a convertible
5spd
Mechanically in great shape. This will be my DD and good maintenance is more important to me right now than modifications
Looking to spend up to 5-6k for a good running car

I have a lovely 97 Camry to drive till I find the right car, but I'd much rather drive an e30 or 944 like I've been looking at so let's see what you guys got :D

Im in the same boat as 'stoked on spool' over here. My optimal price is 6.5k... and i dont have a car. Send your stuff asap! I have class at 8am Wednesday morning and need some fresh wheels.
