          thanks for the complements guys. Only other e30 Ill consider is an e30 m3 ;)
          And I don't have a set price on the car because its being auctioned.

                I thought the rod bearing recall was only on 2001-2002 and some 2003s?

                  You're right, the official rod bearing recall consists of 01-03, but large number of 2004 also had rod bearing failures. This particular car was built in late 03 so Im assuming they used the faulty bearings. New motor only has about 80k miles on it.
