    NVM50 Swapped E30 (87); Also have '00 540i/6

As the title states, I'm selling my M50 swapped E30 (80-85% complete, just plug in the harness adapter (provided), new ECU (provided), finish plugging in the connections to the engine (all provided), finish the exhaust (Raceland headers on now), and put on a new intake manifold (PO hacked it rather than spacing the E21 Booster, bleed the brakes, etc; I'm sure there are a few other odds and ins, but that's the main gist of it.

I would prefer to keep and finish it, I always kick myself every time I sell my E30s; this is now my 5th E30 and regret selling them all. I just work 10-12 hr days, so there is no way I'll have time to complete. The money that comes with working that much is great; however it's not doing me any good for my love of cars as I refuse to pay someone to do things like this for me!

I recently purchased a 2002 VW Jetta GLS TDI. I've been wanting to build a TDI for years and came across a great deal on a low mileage MKIV Jetta. The plan is swap in a PD150 and build to ~250whp and ~400wtq... Unfortunately the ALH is only good to a little over 200whp and 300wtq, so it has to go in favor of the ARL (Euro version; think of it as the S50B30 from EU for the VW TDI World :D)

So really, not interested in BMW trades unless you have something interesting; however, I doubt I'd be interested. No time for projects or I'd finish this.

AS A NOTE: I'm also selling my 2000 540i/6 M PKG car with low miles. If someone out there has an interesting trade and would want both, we can talk; however, my main purpose is to sell this and the 540 and build a solid TDI.

I'll add a few pics of the 540/6 at the bottom for good measure (I have an ad in the 5 Series section specifically for that).

    Trade Interests:
-VW PD150 (ARL). If you know what this is, let's make it happen, if not, no worries...

-I'm also interested in 5x100 wheels and
    -MKIV Jetta Suspension (Coilovers).
-GLI front and rear bumper and side skirts; would also be interested in
-Other CLEAN front/rear bumper and side skirt setups (I had Ottienger Front bumpers and grill on my last Jetta)

If parts list is not equivilent to cost of car, I'll take parts plus cash.

Possibly other trades, but my main interests are listed above... As I said, cash can go either way. For the right trade I will add cash.

    Details of E30 :

    Engine:
    -NVM50 (115K mi)
    -Raceland Headers
    -CAI Intake
-The E30 is a NOT 100% complete in it's swap. I traded my E34 for both this car and a truck when I thought I'd have time to complete the E30 (if I don't end up trading, I WILL complete it, the timeline will just be extended further than I'd like). The swap is 80-85% complete in that all that is left (as I am told by the PO) is to finish minimal things that were mentioned above, in addition to obvious things, like: bleeding brakes, adjusting parts, ensuring everything is ready, fluids, etc.

    Wiring: GregSlow318i adapter

    Body:
-Typical dents and dings here and there; however, the car was hit in the side. My understanding is that the driver was driving and a lady changed lanes without looking and hit the car. The door needs work; however, I'll include a spare that is good, so it can just be changed. ALSO the quarter panel just behind the door and below the trim line needs some work. I worked at a body shop for a while, friends owns one, and brother in law works in the industry. All of us agree that I'm lucky in that the dent isn't jagged, and will just need to be popped out and a light skim coat applied. Any good, or even crap body shop could fix this to better than new in no time. If it were sharp deep grooves it would be another story.
-THAT SAID, I can have the car fixed and painted, or any variation in between if the new owner prefers, but obviously the price will increase.

    Suspension:
    -Koni Struts
    -Vogtland Spring
-Camber plates (not sure what brand, will inspect when I get the car home)
    -Reenforcement Plates
-ALL bushings have been replaced INCLUDING the rear subframe bushings

Everything Else (some may come across vague, but I'll update as soon as I pick the car up and get more information):
    -Z4 Shifter
    -3:73 LSD
    -New Clutch
    -New Lightened Flywheel
    -Lachssilber (needs paint)
    -Rota RBs
-Houndstooth Interior (Blue AND Black (picking up the black tomorrow)).
-Front Seats are Recaro's from an MKII
    -Bumpers Tucked

There is more I'm sure but I can't remember right now.

    Bad:
-As mentioned, needs a little body work, but I have a spare door in good shape and could have all repairs made including paint if the interested party wishes; HOWEVER a deposit must be made as I'm not paying for materials just to have the potential buyer change their mind.
-Swap needs to be completed (See above)
-Dash has typical cracks (this irks the hell out of me but I haven't found a suitable replacement yet. As soon as I do, it will be bought immediately.

Really and truly, the car is Super Solid and is a hell of a platform for a great daily driver or a track car. If I keep it, EVERYTHING will be gone through, and the car will be minty fresh. This isn't my first E30, however, I'm now older and not looking to halfass anything. I do however wish to start building my Diesel project VW.

Considering what finished swap cars are going for these days, I don't see any reason why this should be worth less than $2500 (M50, Koni's, Vogtlands, Camber and Reinforcement Plates, Raceland, Wiring adapter (no hack jobs), RBs, Houndstooth, etc.) There is more money in parts than I'm asking for the car with everything.

Pics (I'll update with more recent pictures as time allows; I typically work 10-12 hrs a day which is why I don't have time to finish this car:

540/6; 115K miles, all E39 issues HAVE been sorted; $8000 OBO
