    *SOLD*(CT) '88 325is, Schwarz / Cardinal, 0 Rust.*SOLD*

I just found out I'm shipping to BCT on Feb. 5th, which is A LOT sooner than I was anticipating. I spent a lot of time finding a really nice E30 and even more taking care of it. I decided it needs to go. I have a Subaru I built from the ground up that I'm going to keep.

    Now down to it..

It's a 1988 325is. It has Schwarz paint that is in good condition, I was planning on having it wet sanded and buffed in the spring. There is plenty of clear coat left on the car to do it. There is 0 and when I say 0 I mean ZERO rust on the car. It's originally from Florida and it was brought up to NJ and never driven. I purchased it soon after and have taken very good care of the car ever since. Right now it's currently under a NOAH 4 season's car cover and it gets started once a week. When driving spirited I was averaging 22/23 MPG, always ran 93.

    Good:
    No Rust
    Awesome paint
    4 Brand new Falken tires
Cardinal interior with M3 front seats
Brand new black BMW floor mats
13 button OBC works, new LED display. Temp sensor works too.
LED's on check panel replaced, all work.
Glove box has latch and works
    Map light
Odometer works has roughly 164xxx miles (maybe more maybe less) and it still works fine.
New brakes and rotors all the way around.
    New Head Gasket/Timing Belt/Water Pump/Tensioners done by PO (www.drive-gear.com)
Cold A/C and toasty warm heat.
    Mtech 1 wheel
Yellow overlays on the smilies are fresh and new.
    Fog lights work!
    I Lip

    Bad:
    2 Minor cracks in dash.
Sun roof motor doesn't work, can be cranked open tho.
Passenger seat bottom has some tears in the middle.
Drivers side up left bolster has some separation.
Power antenna came off in the car wash. I purchased a delete plug from a member on here.

I also have a set of E30M3 springs, they are still in the box from a member on here. Never had time to put them in, they can be included in the sale for the price I paid for them ($100) and POSSIBLY installed for an additional fee.

    Pictures:

I haven't owned the car long enough to take some proper photos of it. But I will share what I have at this time.

I do believe dear sir, that that is an "I" lip not an "IS" lip.

what sort of maintenance have you performed since owning? Do you have any records from the previous owners?

I have replaced all brakes and rotors, bled the brakes
2 Oil changes, almost due for a 3rd but it's parked for the winter.
                  Replaced crank pulley / bolts.

I do not have any previous owners records. The car had it's timing belt, water pump and head gasket done by Andrew at www.drive-gear.com, I know if contacted he could confirm this.

I am open to offers, I unfortunately am not looking to hold onto the car for 8 years. I have a Subaru that I built from the ground up that I'll be holding onto.

I joined the Army, 89D (EOD). Swore in today and it's setting in already how soon I leave.

When was the t-belt/water pump job completed (mileage)? What does the car need as of now? Looking for full disclosure.

PM me your phone number if you would prefer to talk on the phone.

I would prefer here, just so everyone can see my replies so they know as well.

The car has 164xxx miles on it (exact are shown in the odo photo), I have had the car since 160,xxx miles and the HG TB and WP were all done <500 miles before I picked up the car.

As far as what the car needs? Shifter bushings (sloppy play but doesn't effect anything), sun roof motor (can crank open as stated) and other than that really haven't noticed anything wrong that deems replacing. The car is honestly in fantastic shape.

Please, feel free to ask more questions if I haven't answered anything fully.

Edit; You can fly into BDL and I'll meet you there if you're interested - I'm 100% confident you can make it back to FL in the car, I would just do an oil change since it's close to due.
Double edit; If you'd like because of your distance / interest. I can take video's of the car running, driving, braking, whatever you'd like.

I would certainly love to see a cold and hot start up and maybe a general driving video as you had suggested, since I am so far away. It would make me feel more confident in the deicision that im making to purchase your vehicle. I would love to see a lot more pictures of the car inside and out whenever you get a chance. You can email me them to TehPi1ot@yahoo.com

I also really appreciate the very quick responses. Thank you.

No problem man. I have a car to sell! I'm actually going to my fathers ( where the car is being storage on pavement under a cover vs. dirt at my house) tomorrow and can take care of your requests. I'll email you now as well.
