I am selling my 1987 325e coupe, cirrus blue exterior with blue interior. Accident and rust free body with 206K miles. Clean title and carfax.

This E30 was upgraded with the following:
· New 16x7.5 Borbet A wheels with 205/50/16 Bridgestone Potenza tires
· BMW M technic springs, sport package 20/14.5mm swaybars and Bilstein Sport shocks
· 2.93 ratio limited slip differential
· BMW leather sport seats with sheepskin covers (seats need some work)
· M technic steering wheel and ZHP shift knob
· Hella H1/H4 headlights
· Ipod FM modulator added to the stock radio/cassette
I bought this E30 in 2008 at 164K and slipping clutch (was still the original clutch). I replaced the clutch and many other wear and tear parts shortly after the purchase. I primarily used the car to commute to work as well as had few extended trips in it with great success. I have maintained the car to the highest standard using “old school maintenance schedule” recommended by BMW CCA expert Mike Miller. I only used best quality oils and replacement parts available. I have all the records for all the repairs and maintenance I have done.
The good:
· Extremely well maintained very solid and reliable E30 that comes with two folders of receipts. You can see excel spreadsheets summaries below:
Repairs: 325e repairs.xls
Service: 325e service.xls
· Only top best synthetic fluids used (engine oil changed every 5K, valve adjustment, OEM filters and plugs every 15K, Redline transmission and diff oils every 30K or so, ATE brake fluid annually, BMW coolant every 2 years).
· Accident free body (all VIN tags are present and match)
· Clean title and flawless carfax report (I still have a copy of a report from spring 2012)
· New OE front brake rotors and pads
· Almost new wheels and tires
· Almost new Hella headlights
The bad:
· Could use a repaint. Paint is mostly original (sides are faded), roof, hood and trunk were recently repainted (because of a typical clearcoat peeling) and did not turn out so good. I have photos from before to show how faded the original paint was
· Seats need work, also driver’s seat has some cracks and wear. Original “comfort” seats were mint, but I found them extremely uncomfortable for long trips. I replaced original seats with these– they are leather seats from 1992 325i M technic convertible and are very comfortable
· Few cracks on the dash
· Slightly faded parcel shelf
· A/C needs a charge, still uses R12 freon.
· Power antenna does not retract
· Power locks gave up after it rained couple of months ago
· Clock screen has a spot
· Seeping camshaft seal and/or valve cover gasket
· Timing belt and Inspection II will be due in about 6 months. Rear brake pads will be due soon.
Price is $3200. The car is located in Irvine, CA.
