    FS: 91 318is M52B28 swap

    Location: N Charleston, SC

    Body: ~185-190k mi
    Engine: ~25-30k mi

Bought a new truck, have to let this one go.
Bought this car back in 10/2009 from Racewerks (euro car shop that specialized in bimmers) in Virginia Beach, Va. I have done no mods to the car except regular maintenance and drive to work. No autox, track, street racing, etc.
    No rust nor leaks.
    Clean title in hand.

Carfax has an accident report on the car on 11/09. I was on my way home from work. Had to replace bumper, hood, right front fender and passenger headlight. No frame damage. While it was at the shop I had them remove minor rust by the windows and repainted the car Supra White.

    Mods

    Engine

99 M52B28 (was rebuilt by Racewerks when they did the swap)
Getrag 5 spd transmission (shifts like new)
    3.73 LSD
    M3 flywheel/clutch
    M3 Cams
    M50 Intake Manifold
    3" Intake
    Hi flow cat
Custom exhaust (throaty and not loud)
    Active Autowerks tune

    Suspension

5 Lug 99 M Coupe conversion (HUGE brakes, smallest rims that fit are 17")
    Ground Control Track/School coilovers
    GC Rear Shock Mounts
    GC Race Camber Plates
    Treehouse racing control arm bushings
    SS Brake Lines
    ASA AR1 17x8 40et with 235/40/17 tires (~5k mi on tires)
    Wheel Spacers

Battery relocated to spare tire well
    Car alarm
Power windows, power steering, manual moon roof works and doesn't leak
Love the blue sideview mirrors on these cars, great visibility

    Bad:
Glove box won't open (very common for these cars, folder of car's history is in there) I'll try to fix this without breaking the glove box.
Odometer stopped at 172011 mi (got another cluster from junkyard) Will fix when I have the time to research. I like to take my time and not break more things.
No ebrake because of 5 lug conversion
Left high beam headlight is out (Will replace both high beam headlights when I remember to buy some on my home from work)
Radio works, but need code (battery died while I was on deployment)
    No a/c
Squeaks when cold in cold days, but it's gone after the car warms up
No rear seat belts (it was made for the track so it was replaced with racing harnesses)

    EDIT:
Forgot a couple things and remembered when someone asked the right question lol.

-Wheel shimmy at highway speeds. Steering wheel shakes a little, drives straight though. Haven't had time to figure it out.
Only silver paint left in the car is the interior, engine bay, inside of trunk, and driver door window frame (not the whole door). Door jambs, etc were painted.
-I'll try to find that picture underneath of the car for those wanting the undercarriage condition of the car.
-Window switch sucks, but still works great (it's old, waddya expect lol, it doesn't have that clicking action). Really common for these cars. People usually replace them with E36 window switches.
-Driver power window works, but barely turns the sideview mirrors. Gears are probably worn. It stays there, never have to keep adjusting.

    SOLD. SOLD. SOLD.

Will not be riding a bike until I own a house with a garage. My R6 was stolen within a couple of weeks of moving to N Charleston. :(

        Great bike though.

Added an under the car picture. Lowest part of the car is the exhaust after the cat, but before the bend. It could be almost an inch higher, but if it was it'd probably contact something and make rattling sounds lol.

I don't know if ya'll can see it, but there's some scratch marks there. No, there's no exhaust leaks.

                    That'd be annoying.

Honestly, if this was my first car, I'd feel like I'd be a spoiled kid lol. I still remember my first car, 1983 Celica GT... Man, that was an awesome old car. Dad bought it from his cousin, mom learned on it, brother learned on it and cut the springs to improve his ricing skills haha, then I finally got it and put stock springs on it. Finally started having ignition issues after 21 years of awesome service. Really sad when it was sold a couple of weeks later, haha.

Not only was snowboarding difficult, but it was killing my knees and ankles.

So I bitched out and traded them for skis.Glad I did, I spent less time on my butt or face in the snow.

Car is still waiting for a new owner. :(

Someone make a reasonable offer.

Lol I had the same problem when I bought mine, when I finally got it open it was like a treasure chest.
