The time has come to sell my E30 (1990 325iS). I need to sell the car to fund my college education. I am extremely attached to this car, but I have come to a point where I can no longer afford to pay and keep up my E30 obsession, so I need to let my baby go to good hands and a good home.
NOTE: Please excuse the terrible pics. I don't have access to a digicam and didn't have a tripod.
Intro

The car is mostly stock with 159K miles on the clock. It's Brilliantrot/Tan. 5-speed manual.
I am the 2nd owner of this car. I purchased this car from the original owner back in 2002. The original owner had all the E30 service/work done at his local BMW dealer in San Diego. Those service records still exist in their database.
I also have all my service records and receipts of the car since I owned it.
New clutch (replaced with OEM Sachs Clutch kit), new clutch slave, tranny fluids flushed and replaced with Redline synthetic, new starter, new BOSCH alternator w/ new voltage regulator. I replaced the following at ~120K: All upper seals and gaskets , timing belt and tensioner, Distributor & rotor, BOSCH Super spark plugs, Magnecor spark plug wires, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, lower fuel hoses, power steering hoses, oil pan gasket, oil cap, fuel cap, ATE brake rotors, ATE super blue brake fluid, and Pagid brake pads.
The car has a little list of mods:
25MM E32 750i Brake Master Cylinder
TMS Stainless Steel Brake Lines
E46 M3 Cabrio rear shock mounts
E30 M3 Control Arm Bushings (not installed)
Kenwood Headunit (old)
Kenwood 6-CD changer
E30 M3 Leather brake boot
AGLA Black Shift boot (very soft leather and matches brake boot perfectly)
M-tech shift knob
Exterior:
The exterior of the car is pretty clean with the exception of some dings, small scratches, a keymark on the rear 1/4 panel (previous owner), and a small upward ding on the hood (previous owner), and finally the fender (explained below).
There was a truck carrying a rolled up chainlink fence which fell onto the freeway. I did the best I can to dodge it but it still ended up hitting my E30. Truck ended up speeding away and I could not catch up in time.
Damage that was done:
Passenger-side fender was lightly damaged. I still have the original fender, in case the buyer needs to inspect the damage (I will post pics of this upon request). There was no damage to the metal supporting the fender. The passenger side-mirror was pretty badly scratched. Small ding on hood, a-pillar, and c-pillar (w/ some scratches).
I bought a fender in great shape off of Jonathan (92 mtechnic cabrio). I then had the fender and side-mirror painted by a total con who showed me samples of "his work". I was convinced that I would have a perfect paint-match on my parts. Well, the paint matches... but the finish is absolute crap. I have never ever seen a "professional" paint job look so bad. I overpaid and I can't afford to pay again and have it done right.
Here's what it looks like now:

There have been no accidents/body damage before this incident. All VINs match except for fender. As mentioned, I still have the original fender which could probably be repaired as well, if you want all the VINs to match.
Interior

Interior is in great shape for the car's age. Leather all around has no rips or tears, but does have the usual cracking found on the bolsters and such. The dashboard has no cracks and still feels soft. I clean and treat the leather and dash with all Lexol Products. Headliner has no rips and tears and has been kept pretty clean. Door panels have no tears and have always been clean. All the lights and switches work and feel pretty tight. The rear ashtray is missing that small spring and does not stay closed.
Engine and Transmission
I forgot to take pics of the motor, but I'll try and post some ASAP.
The motor runs very strong. Has been driven by a few members here on this board that can comment on this (will list them below). It was switched to Mobil 1 synthetics at 32K miles from the dealer. Has been fed Mobil 1 synthetic oil since then. I adjusted the valves about every ~15K or so. The rubber motor mounts might need replacement.
Tranny is in great shape and has been treated well all it's life. I always rev-match when shifting and have never missed a shift. The tranny shifts very smoothly with the synchros still being in great shape. The shifter bushings were refurbished to get rid of almost all the shifter slop.
Suspension
The front driver's side control arm has a little bit of play and may need replacement. It's not that bad right now, it just needs to be done soon.
Final
This car is a TON of fun and I will surely damn well miss this machine. I need to let it go to a good owner, preferably an enthusiast like myself.
