Just moved here and need a dd. doestn have to be pretty, just reliable. ive been calling and messaging people like crazy but havent heard much.. My budget is only 2k.. so smogged and tagged would be nice as well. i might be able to go over that but not by much. Thanks ahead of time

In case you're not aware, California state law requires the seller to smog the car before selling it and to provide the buyer with proof that it passed so don't buy anything that isn't smogged unless you're willing and able to make required repairs to get it to pass (which can get expensive). To me, smogged and tagged is a requirement when i buy a car.
Some sellers try to trick unknowing or new-to-California buyers into buying a car that can't pass smog. And make sure the Check Engine Light illuminates when you turn the key on, and that it goes out once the engine starts.
