This euro plate filler is a genuine BMW part and also available in the US variety.

The cupholder started off as aluminum wire that my friend bent and welded a little plate where the ashtray screws go through. I found a cup holder/phone insert at PepBoys and zip-tied it through. Holds my coffee and Iphone perfectly. Cupholder comes with a stroker engine guys!
