    CT:1988 mercedes benz 300ce teaser (w124 coupe)

    NEW PRICE AND INFO
    exterior:
the exterior is pretty much all there, car does need paint but its solid has a couple rust spots that would need some dealing with but nothing crazy ( one spot on the pass fender, one by the drivers tail light and one on the roof very minor sizes).
    interior:
seats are in good condition, they have some creases. no rips. the usual for a 20+yr old car. rugs are clean. dash is crack free. wood was in bad shape, i started replacing it i have the climate control out of a late model in ( diffrent color wood beautiful light oak) and i also added the lock box from the late model aswell ( sliding box wood top no key though. ) i will continue to look for the ash tray pieces and the wood trim around the shifter.
    electrical
-seat adjusters are both in working order the passanger was replace by me since it wasnt working (replaced with oem part) window relays were all replaced aswell. drivers window was off track will be put back on track. (pillar less coupe.. very nice when all windows are down) all lights are working aswell including the original bosch fog lights.
    mechanical
-the car is running and driving.
    - i suggest the following which i have not done, watepump/cables and sparks/cap and rotor/waterpump/belts minus timing. used cars are used cars. when they break it should be expected. parts are cheap if you know where to look. if your local i can point you in the right direction for part out cars.
    - transmission is in good shape, car needs a diffrential mount (rough knock at times in reverse, if you press the gas too hard at 4k rpm itll give a jerk nothing too crazy. car has 4 gears... aka dont expect this car to do some crusing usa double gas tap wheelie stuff)
    car has no leaks
    wheels
-has all 4 original rims, they are in good shape no paint peels.
    - needs rear tires
    brakes
    - brake pads are new both in front and rear disk brakes
    - brakes should be bled
    - rotors need to be replaced
    - needs abs sensors
    title and milage
    - car shows 213k on title and cluster. car was posted on ebay and history report stated the car had a mileage discrepancy at around 140-150k miles. (i suspect it was due to a broken cluster.) it went from 1xxk to 17 miles then to 2xxk miles. and its at 213k right now. ( very comon problem with clusters on these cars. )
    PRICE
    $800
(can be driven home if buyer would like)

    new pics

    old pics

these were taken a couple weeks after i bought the car. still has the old wood trim and the 80's car phone set up ( car phone deleted sliding arm rest box installed)

(a little motivation for the tuners)

omg so hot. Now i wanna drive up to Connecticut. I'm a serious sucker for old german cars, but this is in decent shape and is reasonably priced!
