You changed a badge and that makes the car mint? How about a comp test or a leak down test? Alignment sheet? When was the timing belt done last? Your an asshole for trying to come to a devote semi-educated community thinking you can make a buck. The way you post you come off as a prick.

^You do know that's backwards, right?

That's like me selling a video game console for $600, but if you want to know what console it is, you'll have to be a serious buyer.

              Then I'll tell you it's a mint TurboGrafix16.

How do you have it if you don't even have the car yet? Where is the proof? How about I go down to San Diego where the car ACTUALLY IS and do a pre-buy Inspection for you and see if the car still reflects the price your asking for?

Sure go ahead and do me favor like that everyone can see its smog legal. Just maybe I can squeeze a little bit more out of this MINT E30 Cabro .

^That wouldn't be a marketing point for someone that lives in an area without emissions testing, now would it?

Still it will show that it will pass if it did. Great selling point don't you think?

                          Hi.

This is fun. Im going to post my MINT BRONZIT for $20k on the east coast because its tastefully modded and has German wheels on it.

OP, this price is approaching s50/52 swap car territory. Hell even those guys don't ask this much for them.

There are two giant problems I have with your ad. First being you trying to sell a vert on the east coast like the weather ever permits having the top down but maybe two months out of the year. The market for convertibles is tiny to begin with even on the west coast. The price is just silly.

Second problem, you're response to everyone in this thread as "trolling". No one is trolling. They are trying to inform you that your car is overpriced. Plain and simple. Lower that price down to around $6500-7000 and you may have some bites. Anyone that has been PMing you or emailing you IS in fact trolling. No one is actually interested in buying your overpriced, automatic convertible. We cant even get a straight answer from you on something as simple as mileage. One pic says one mileage then the next says another.

Straighten your thread up or I can guarantee that it will be locked or deleted very shortly.

And before you say Im trolling or "thanks for the thread bump", I'm not trying to talk shit. I'm trying to educate you. The lesson you're trying to teach everyone is, How Not To Sell A Car. Just do us all a favor and post this car back on ebay and leave the forum world out of it.
Need a performance chip for you BMW? Shoot me a PM and I'll get you taken care of!!

That's like saying you can charge more for a car that floats when the buyer lives in the middle of the desert. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a selling point.

Now, an upfront, honest seller, with actual realistic, factual evidence would surely be a selling point.

Just because it is smog legal doesnt mean the engine is mint.
When was the water pump replaced?
                              How are the CAB's.
do you know what that is?
How many miles ago was the timing belt done?
How are the rear subframe bushings?
How are the drive shaft u joints?
                              Are the shocks blown out?
Is the center support bearing worn?
                              Is the trans leaking.
                              Is the oil pan leaking?
                              hows the Valve adjustment?
Do you have records for anything I just listed ,that's how you sell a car. That's how you justify your price.
And by the way it's cabrio short for cabriolet or convertible. Not cabro you mint prick.

I'm new to this community but shouldn't flipping cars be kind of against the FS rules? Other forums I have been on are discussion 1st classifieds 2nd. This section should be for members trying to sell their cared for e30s not a used car salesman trying to make a buck.
