What kind of budget did you have in mind? What is your car ownership background?

How about the one you promised to buy a month and a half ago?

What the hell, is this high school?

"Promised to buy." Only on R3V have I heard members complain about other members for not buying something... This is real life kiddies, no one HAS to purchase something from you.

Good luck finding the right car, Boscoe.

No Exodus, it's called an agreement. I'm 46 years old and retired Navy,so i'm not some "kiddie" and don't run my mouth on matters not relevant to me. I've been corresponding with Boscoe for 2 months now. A month and a half ago, he said he wanted my car and said he would have the cash in two weeks. I told him last week that I was not playing a game and that if he was serious, to come up with the cash. That's the last email that I received. I've put off selling the car to others interested because of our agreement. Look at how long he has posted that he's looking for one. I'm trying to let others know not to waste their time dealing with him.
I'm a man of my word. I guess that doesn't mean much to a lot of people, yourself included, but it means quite a bit to me.

Contrary to what you may think, I do appreciate honesty.

That said, maybe your car just isn't right for him. Maybe he is too nice to say that he isn't as interested as he thought he was. If you waited around for 2 months, holding onto your car without even a deposit, that is your own fault. Going onto a public forum and putting someone on the spot to purchase your car is a childish act. However, since you did post this on a public forum, you opened the situation up to public opinion. So yes, I will "run my mouth on matters not relevant to me."

It sounds to me that you are sour because he didn't buy your car. So are you telling others not to attempt to sell theirs to him? That doesn't make any sense.

Apparently, you don't understand the definition of "relevant". It states,"affording evidence tending to prove or disprove the matter at issue or under discussion". Since you are not privy to the interaction between the two of us, your statement wasn't relevant or helpful. I also asked for a deposit a couple of weeks ago after trusting him with the original agreement. The reason I posted this is to let others know that this person doesn't have the cash and will take up a lot of the person's time making empty promises ending in frustration. I'm trying to help others from going through needless BS. I would have appreciated that knowledge if someone offered it before wasting my time. If you consider that childish.....well, I guess I can live with that.
