For sale is a bronzit 1987 BMW 325is, 5-speed manual. Have to sell because I'm moving and can't take my baby with me. ODO shows 144,000+, I suspect it has about 170,000+.

The car runs pretty well, but is obviously 25+ years old and needs TLC. Paint is in fairly bad shape. Exhaust leak, should we welded - cheap, or replaced - less cheap. Rust spot on driver side floor panel - can recommend a shop that will fix well and inexpensive. Carpet has been removed but is included in the sale, driver side door card was removed but is also included in the sale along with a black version. Panel below steering wheel is missing and the main glovebox panel needs to be replaced or secured to the strap that holds it (no biggie). Central panel was cracked and therefore removed, but is included in the sale. Know a place where these can be replaced inexpensively.
Work on this car includes the entire new suspension setup (was necessary for safety):
- New Bilestein Sport Struts & Shocks
- New H&R Sport springs
- New (2) front control arms (Lemfoerder)
- New (2) tie rods (Lemfoerder)
- New (2) sway bar drop links (Lemfoerder)
- New (2) front control arm bushings (AKG)
- New Interstate Battery (with receipt = excellent warranty)
All receipts to substantiate the above items are included.
Spark plugs and oil were changed, didn't reset the oil service gauge so it still shows yellow. Temp gauge is flaky and may need a smack to display engine temp, but other than that no problems. Car starts and runs goods. Shifts well. Please flush the coolant for good measures (coolant and water included).
Passenger rear tire slowly lets out air but fix-a-flat is included. Driver side front fender has a bit of rust on the bottom.
