    >>>FS: 1986 325 in NJ <<<

    NEW PRICE $950

I'm posting this for a friend, here's his description of the car for sale:
" I am the second owner, bought it with 140K on the odometer.
Changed all fluids right away throughout the vehicle, Red Line synthetic transmission fluid, Red Line rear differential synthetic lubricant, BMW antifreeze/distilled water at a 50%/50% mix and a bottle of Red Line water wetter, drained and flushed the power steering system with Red Line synthetic ATF.
Changed the oil every 5K since I had it, with synthetic Mobil 1.
Flushed brake fluid reservoir and calipers once a year with Castrol DOT-4 brake fluid.
Car is a February 1986 325e with a 2.7 Liter Eta engine and gets 28 mpg.
At 145K a distributor cap and rotor a new catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, a stainless steel intermediate exhaust pipe and a stainless steel muffler and tailpiece, also new brake rotors and pads, front and rear.
At 200K we put a new timing belt, belt tensioner and waterpump on, also put Bilstein struts at all four corners, both rear wheel bearings and both rear half axles.
At 230K new brake rotors and pads, front and rear.
At 231K new distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and oxygen sensor.
Car runs strong, but needs a new catalytic converter and a paint job."

Shit, I could use a good beater/daily. Shame you're not closer to NC.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
