    1995 amg c36

    SOLD

Up for sale is my 1995 Mercedes AMG C36 with 159k miles. I have only had this car for a couple of months, I bought this because I've always liked them and it's the first one I've seen for sale locally in the silver/black color combo I like. Since I bought it I've had the need come up to buy a truck so unfortunately the car has to go. The previous owner replaced the troublesome engine wire harness and also replaced the head gasket and had the head decked and checked. I have receipts for over $3,000 for that work about 10k miles ago. The car has a nice stance sitting on H&R springs and Bilstein Sport shocks. The ride is still very nice and not sacrificed by the springs.

Since I've owned it I replaced the front tires (rears are still great tread), changed out the grille to a factory piece (I'll also include the blackout grill that came with the car). I also changed out the transmission filter and fluid using synthetic. I put a new factory star on the hood.

The body is very straight and in great shape, the only dent I've noticed is a small on in the driver's door that could easily be fixed by a paintless guy if you cared to do that. There is no rust on the car. The antenna is broken off but I'll include a new mast that I purchased for the car.

The interior is VERY nice. The only issues being the headliner is dropping in the rear and the woodgrain panels have some cracks. Power seats work great, sunroof and all windows work properly. The driver's side door lock works some of the time, the other 3 and trunk work great. AC and heater work great as new. Factory radio works but the display does not show up so you can't see where it's tuned. The car is equipped with a factory cell phone that works along with the panel under the radio for hands free use (of course there is no service and you probably can't get a carrier assigned to it, but it's still cool).

The engine runs great and has not given me any issues. I did notice after purchase that the intake crossover tube is cracked so that should be replaced. The transmission shifts great. The factory AMG exhaust sounds great and has the chrome AMG tips at the rear bumper. The fuel gauge works when it's in a good mood. I fill it up with 93 octane premium when the trip meter hits 200 so it's not really an issue for me.

I've priced the car less than what I paid for it so I can sell it quickly and get a truck. I require a $500 deposit via paypal and the balance within 5 days via certified check, wire transfer, or cash in person. I can assist with shipping from my end but it's up to you to pick a shipper and get that scheduled. If you want to fly in and get the car I can most likely pick you up at IAH airport depending on when you arrive. Being a used car, there is no warranty.

    Looking for $5500 or offer.

159k. Depending on which numbers are correct there were only 200-400 brought to the US.
