    WTB: Swapped, well-sorted sedan

The description pretty much says it all. I'm open to all colors and a few different motors (M30, S50/52, S38?!) but it must be manual and done right. No 200k mile motors, no rusty bodies, etc. I want to be able to turn the key and drive it to the store or to Argentina. It might be loud and it might look awesome, but it better work.

If someone has built one of these right and feels like they might sell it for the right number (to build something else, of course), I'm hoping that this thread might tease it out of them. I'm selling something new and expensive to fund this purchase, so I may be talked into emotionally/impulsively writing a rather exorbitant check for the perfect car.

Sorry for the cryptic WTB thread, the E30 itch is hitting me hard and it's way too late and I just know somebody out there has exactly what I'm looking for and hasn't quite committed to posting a For Sale thread...

    Cheers!
    John

P.S. There's a chance I'd consider a coupe, if it's the absolute perfect one, but I am really looking for the unicorn that is a near-perfect sedan.

      Prefer naturally aspirated cars.

Bump for this thread, looking seriously for something that seems pretty hard to find!

You selling this? Im looking for something exactly like this.
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

I'll bump this thread. Sedans or coupes. Will pay five figures, just want an awesome car.
            Considering original motor 325s, too.

            Cheers,
            John

I have an M52B28 swapped 1990 e30 sedan. The car is rust free and currently sitting on BBS RM's 15x8.5 and 15x9. In the last 3000 Miles I have installed new control arms, m3 control arm bushings, tie rods, e36 rack, bilstein sports, Vogtland springs, IE camber plates, adjustable swaybar links, cabrio swaybar, new rotors and Hawk HPS pads, stainless lines, rebuilt calipers. Redline in differential (373s) as well as the transmission. The motor has around 40,000 Miles on it, OBD1 converted and it has the Miller W.A.R. chip that is fully tunable with a laptop and windows XP.

I'm willing to let it go for $7000 or less if I keep the BBS

I don't have any photos of it now but some progress photos

I stripped all the sound deadening, checked for rust, repainted the floors and dyed and reinstalled the carpets. There is a small rip in the drivers seat but the rest is in great shape.

You've described me exactly. PM me your email address and I'll send you pictures and details on my coupe so we can discuss.
