No Rust! No Rust! No Rust!
Has always been located in Greenville, NC
1988 325IS Facelift body with metal bumpers. Automatic transmission.
All original, one owner when I purchased it, I have titled the car but never licensed it. The car has a current North Carolina Vehicle Inspection.
When I was trying to sell this car earlier this year, everyone wanted to be able to drive it home so I replaced or installed the following items and it can now be driven home.

Items replaced: Timing belt and idler pulley, water pump, radiator, thermostat, cam seal, fan clutch, all coolant hoses except the one to the coolant tank, spark plugs, plug wires, v-belt, idle control valve, oil and filter, flex disk (Guibo), brake master cylinder, flushed brake lines, removed brake calipers F&R and cleaned internally, turned rear rotors, resealed front calipers with TRW kit, replaced front rotors and pads, fuel pump and filter, ignition electrical switch, ABS relay and installed a keyless entry system.

The car starts and idles perfectly, has great power and the transmission shifts sharply. The compression of cylinders 1,2,3,4 and 6 is 150 psi cylinder 5 is 144 psi.

Bad: Paint is dead from the pinstripe area up, front drivers fender dented at headlight, hood has a few dents, rear passenger quarter dented near taillight, dash has one crack and it has Beige carpet.

Does this mean u can swap out for euro bumpers then? I know 88s you can't but just want to make sure since its built in 87. Thanks

Everything for the AC is there but I did not try to get it working. As far as bumpers go, It will accept plastic bumpers front and rear with no problems (the rear will need holes drilled to accept the side brackets) but I think that means Euro bumpers will not work on the rear properly.

Did I say there is no rust on this car? I can post photos of the floor boards, rear rockers, plate lights, tail light openings, ect. if that will help with the sale, please let me know.

Slick car! I ran into the same '87 build' semantics with buyers on my 88. COME ON GUYS, IT'S A LATE MODEL!
