1991 318is alpine in FL Sold!!!!

Im bringing this thread back instead of starting a new one. I accepted a job offer in Austin TX. I have set up plans to move Dec 1, but my wife and I would like to move Nov 1 and the only way we can do this is sell my car first. If it sells within the next couple of weeks that would be awesome. Edit: Turns out my buddy in Austin just gave me the cash for the car and I will buy it back from him in a couple months. Works out great, I get to move early and get my car back after the new year!

1991 318is with clean title, As far as the engine and drivetrain, it runs great, the ODO shows just over 135,000 but within that last couple months the speedo has started intermittently working. When it stops the odo stops. Some days it won't work at all, sometimes it will. I'm assuming I have put 1500-2000 miles on it with it like this. I'm fairly certain it's below 140k, but I don't know if it had this issue before, so I can't give an exact mileage.

The engine does have a couple minor oil leaks, one coming from the top seal on the power steering rack , and the front crank seal. I have the crank seal in my toolbox at work just havent installed it. As of now I havent seen any other oil leaks up front. The clutch feels smooth and shifts great. The diff though could use a reseal. It's a 4:10 but not a LSD. It has a AC Schnitzer chip installed. No smoke, No ticking, the temp gauge stays on the first line, but maybe a little above in traffic or at a drive thru. The radiator, timing chain tensioner and exhaust has been recently replaced. Also the A/C works and blows cold, but the belt is worn and stretched a little, so it's not that tight around the pulleys causing it to squeak a little when the a/c clutch engages. I just never use the a/c.

The interior is all recovered so it looks brand new, but it was with a cheap vinal ebay kit although it still looks good. The dash only has 1 small crack on the inside of the cubby on the passenger side. It comes with BMW plush floor mats from an e90, and a set of wet weather bmw mats if you want them. I recently replaced the drivers door lock cylinder, and bought a new master key for it so I didn't have to use one of those huge aftermarket keys. I installed an Alpine UTE-42bt head unit, Alpine type R 6.5in component set up front and left the premium speakers in the back but no tweeters in the rear. I also recovered the rear deck in black so it looks nice with the ports. I installed a 12in Alpine type R sub in a lukebox, with the amp rack in the trunk. The sound needs no explination, it just f'in slams. I'm thinking the only things that need to be completed inside is the right side step plate is cracked and needs to be replaced, the rear ashtray is missing, and since I installed 6.5in component speakers up front I never got around to modifying the kick panels to fit so they are out. The trunk is in good shape, with all the tools in the kit and 2 Precision Power black ice amps installed in one of Luke's amp racks. It turned out nice.

The wheels/suspension is TRM C1 15x8 wheels, 205 50 15 Kuhmo tires which have less than 2k miles on them. I have the factory 14" weaves with all the center caps to go with it, and the spare is in the trunk. I installed Ground Control coilovers on 2" cut front strut housings. The front springs are 440lb and the rear is 650. The front shocks are koni G60 adjustables. The wrong konis came for the rear so I just left the kyb in for now. That's the worst about the suspension. Also I installed new OEM tie rod ends, control arms, m3 bushings, vert sway bar up front. Over small bumps it does have a small clunk up front which I'm fairly certain is the sway bar links or the steering shaft flex joint. It's not that bad and I'm too lazy to figure it out. The PO put OEM brakes all around. I also replaced the clutch slave cylinder.

As far as the body, all the panels are original with the vin tags still in place. It did have a cheap paint job at some point. It's hard to see in the pictures but on the right side quarter panel the clear coat is peeling and up close you can see it. It's still got some gloss underneath what's peeling so that's why it's hard to see in the pictures. Some on the left side but not as bad. It definitely could use paint. Also there is a couple dents in the left front fender which again are hard to see, but they are not bad and could be fixed easily. The only bad rust is in the battery tray. I painted over it, but it needs to be fixed. It does have a few tiny surface rust spots, but thats minor.

I work at a BMW Dealership, so putting the car on a rack for inspection will not be a problem.

No. His car was up in the Orlando area I think.
