    FS: 1998 318ti ROLLING CHASSIS

Up for sale is a 1998 318ti rolling chassis. I used this as a parts car to freshen up the old, tired 318 I already own. The car was an auto and has been GUTTED, meaning there is NO interior. This includes carpet, seats, dash, console, headliner, trim pieces, etc...

    The good:
Car has 108k miles on it.
All glass is good EXCEPT the front windshield which has a crack.
    Window motors and tracks
    Doors
    Fenders
Full rear suspension. Diff, half shafts, springs, shocks, wheels, brakes, etc. (pass side rear has a tear in the CV boot, but drove fine for the 15 miles I drove it.)
    Rear hatch is good
    Drive shaft for an automatic
Sunroof worked (before i pulled motor) and doesn't leak.
Full front suspension (Steering rack, column, shocks, springs, brakes, arms, etc.)
    Side mirrors

    The bad:
There is a lien on the title (from a now non-existent business) that I couldn't figure out how to get cleared. I used the car for parts so it didn't matter. The passenger side rear quarter panel seems to have some bondo work underneath of it and the front end has been hit and repainted at some point in time.
The front subframe has a tweak in it - presumably from whatever front end collision this car was in.

The car is located in Maryland about a mile outside of DC. will obviously have to be picked up as it has no motor and I don't own a tow truck. Any questions, please ask.

    $150.00

I will have pictures up shortly. I also have a bunch of e36 parts. If interested, let me know.

I'm not thread crapping but can you legally sell that with a lein against the title?

I'm the second owner to have the title signed over to me after the fact, so I assume so. I bought this car advertised as a "parts only" vehicle. The company that had the lien is no longer in business and I cannot find any history of them existing.

I would take that in a heart beat. Too bad you are on the wrong coast!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!
