    *SOLD! FS/FT e90 330i for a well sorted e30

    SOLD!

    Hi All,
I'm new to the r3vlimited forum and am looking for my first e30. I've owned 2 e36s and an e90 and would love an e30 track/street toy before the good ones are all used up and gone.
I'm looking for a well sorted 325i/318i coupe 5spd for track/street duty plus cash for my car. Brakes, suspension and engine mods as well as lots of maintenance are a real plus since I'm hoping to get on the track soon without having to do too much work. Below is info on my e90 330i
    Thanks!

    2006 BMW 330i Sedan / Sport Package / 6speed manual 79,8XX miles
    VIN WBAVB33546AZ86190
Silver with black leather interior, brushed aluminum trim and fully adjustable power seats
Factory logic 7 stereo with ipod input, bluetooth and Sirius
Upgraded BMW performance steering wheel with stereo and bluetooth controls. Tilts and telescopes
Cruise auto HVAC, windows, moonroof etc...
BMW performance short shift kit with UUC bushings and M3 weighted shift knob
HID Xenon adaptive headlights with WeissLicht pure white angel eyes
    HID Xenon fog lights

This car has been maintained by BMWCCA technical editor Mike Miller’s Old School maintenance schedule

    Last month:
Coolant flush (done every 2yrs.) with Water Wetter added
Brake fluid flush (done every 6mos.)ATE super blue or Motul RBF 600
Oil change (every 3-5k mi.) with Mobil1 5w30

    8000 miles ago:
    Bilstien HD shocks/struts
    Zimmerman blank OE rotors
    Axxis pads
    Stoptech braided steel brake lines
    ATE Super blue fluid

    10,000 miles ago:
    Cabin air filter
    Spark plugs
    Redline MTL transmission fluid
    Power steering fluid

Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE760Sport with roughly 35% to 45% treadlife left.

I purchased the car with 39,XXX milesand had the Active Autowerke custom ECU reflash performed at CESmotorsports in Charlotte. This is a fantastic shop and the tune ishands down the best performance modification for the money that I’veever purchased for any car.

Car has had the clutch delay valve deleted as well as the carbon filter in the intake and the exhaust baffle. (CDV delete and exhaust baffle delete are reversible)

Cosmetically and mechanically the car is a 9/10 or better. I have done all maintenance and modifications myself and they were done with the utmost care and precision. This car has been a daily driver for me since 2010 and it handles arear or forward facing car seat with no trouble (I am 6’2” and fit the car seat rear facing behind my seat with no problems) and does fantastic carrying lots of stuff on long trips.
I have OE BMW roof racks available for sale as well that are designed to fit this car for an extra $200.
I also have an aFe stage 2 intake that I will sell for $200 that is not installed.

I have the clean and clear NC title in hand.

Things I would like to address but haven’t gotten to yet:
-There is an intermittent leak in the passenger side headlight washer/sprayer. Occasionally, it will leak a cup or so of fluid and then not leak for several months. This part is fairly inexpensive and I intended to fix this but have not yet gotten to it.

-The fan/blower resistor for the climate control is beginning to fail. Because of this the fan will occasionally change speed on its own. It is random and only seems to happen when the fan is at the middle setting. However, the fan does always work. This is a common problem with e36/46/90 BMW’s. This is also a fairly inexpensive part and can be replaced with even the most limited of skills in 15min.

-With the slightly stiffer Bilstien shocks the self-leveling headlight sensor will, on very rare occasion, get an aberrant signal and cause the headlights to flicker when cornering hard in bumpy turns. The headlights DO NOT go out and illumination/vision is not compromised. This is occasional, barely noticeable and does not throw a code and does not create any other problems.

I’m sure I am forgetting some of the small upgrades that I have made along the way but this is a true, honest and complete description of my car. It is a fantastic car and is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically.

So are you looking to trade outright? I've got a really well sorted 1990 325is with about $8k into it and $2500 worth of goodies still waiting to be put on. The M20 seems to have a bad oil pump but I have a clean M52 from an automatic sitting in the garage begging to be installed. Drop me a pm for details.

Free bump. The last of the proper-nomenclature 330i, with a true 3.0 engine on it. Too bad just got my 2011 e90 otherwise I would hit you up.

The fan issue is common, and is likely the final stage resistor. I changed mine in my e46 in 2 beers time, and the part cost was about $100 bucks.

Thanks! This is a special car. The last of a breed in a lot of ways.
I've done the FSR fix on two e36s and it is easy. This one is so intermittent I keep forgetting to get the part and get to it.

I've grown to love the E9x body style. I wasn't a fan of it when it came out then I saw the 4dr 330 and 335 which were tastefully modded and fell in love with them. One day...I'll have one.

I have this for sale but it's not worth as much. Plus you're far. Worth a try. You could always just sell your car and buy this.
