WTB 325ix CT/NY/MA/RI Area

With winter approaching in New England I am looking to buy a 325ix because I hear they are a beast in the snow, and in CT we get a lot of snow. I currently have a 1987 e28 528e that I would be willing to trade plus some cash depending on the trade.

Besides the trade my budget is 2.5 - 3k. I'm open to any ix but I much rather prefer a 5spd. And if its an 88 its even better!

I have a IX that needs to be put back together but its all there, interior is out and the engine needs to be finished up (intake cooling system etc) as well as driveline hooked up. Just did a timing belt, WP and all new seals on engine. $1200 picked up in CT.
