WTB: Clean Automatic late model e30 (east coast)

Hello r3vlimited, I am currently in search of a car and would like to give this forum a chance to see if i could find a clean example of an e30 that would tickle my fancy.

Preferably, I would like it to be an 325iX but i will entertain other models as well (except for the 325E and 325ES and convertible models). I'm looking to keep it within a reasonable distance from where I'm located (Summit, NJ - centralish area). 5-6 hour drive maximum.

A working odometer is a must! I would also like to try and keep mileage on the lower side (<100k). I would also like it to have a clean interior (No rips or tears, uncracked dashboard) and exterior (No rust, no faded paint, dings, scratches, etc.) Automatic, unfortunately is required as well. Manual tranny cars will be ignored.

Now, you may think I'm crazy for expecting all of this from an e30, but I'm honestly just hoping for the best. I'm looking to spend around 7-8k if everything is in mechanical order and does not need to be fixed up.

Also, I am considering a WRX Automatic as well (2004-2006) if anyone has a nice WRX they are willing to part with (sub 100k miles) give me a shout. I would be looking to spend 10k or so for a WRX.

    Thank you for your time

I was debating the same thing back in 2008 and ended up buying a saab 92x aero (which is a wrx). Since then I've modified it to be a 300whp automatic awd reliable daily driver.

I do love the driving feel of my e30 though and actually prefer that to my much faster wrx clone.

      Good luck on your search.
