Up for sale is a very much mechanically fresh e30 318is slicktop. This project was purchased as a roller, and almost all new parts were installed. My goal was a street car that would see a few track days each year and I went a bit nuts over the past year. . ...but have realized I have next to no time to finish and enjoy this project. . .. . .so it is going up for sale.
The body is quite clean, but not perfect. The front valance has been tweaked, and the rear quarter above the passenger side tail light has a dent in it. The car is mostly rust free, however the rear license plate area will require some rust repair.
Right now I have over $6,500 in receipts into the car and it has been sitting for the last 6 months. I have not yet wired the gauges, and I need to get some new ignition wires for it. But it is about 90% of the way complete. This car could be parted out to well over $6,000 or finished with some ignition wires, battery, gauge cluster wiring and a little plumbing.

When I purchased the roller, the owner mentioned that the gauge cluster was not working. . .so rather than replace, I planned on making a custom cluster, and had purchased the following gauges.

• VDO oil temperature
• VDO water temperature
• Auto Meter programmable fuel level
