**Price changed to $6,500 **
I have been sitting on this project for too long now and don’t see it getting finished fast enough to justify holding on to it, so the time has come to let it go. 9/87 build date 325isA body that has been stripped down for a track car, with a ’97 S52 swapped in (120K on the motor). Reliability was the top concern while building the car, and many items were replaced with new parts and hardware to achieve this goal. I have run the car at a few AX’s just to do some shake downs and so far everything has run very smoothly. It just needs someone who wants to finish what I don’t have time to, and it will make a great track toy or GTS racer.
The Good Stuff:
Fuel System – tank was cleaned and relined, all fuel lines replaced, new pump, and filter
Brakes – ix booster, new E36 M3 master cylinder, new SS lines, calipers rebuilt,
Clutch System – everything has been replaced with new stock parts, and a SS flex line
OBD2 tune from TRM, putting down 240 hp / 245 lbft on the ground
ZF Gearbox, vorshlag tranny mounts, new CSB, 4.10 LSD (still needs a better diff)
Solid motor mounts, reinforced front subframe, M50 manifold with OBD1 throttle body, and silicone intake boot.
Ebay headers with straight pipes into a single magnaflow at the rear end, custom hangers done by Technica Motorsports.
All wiring has been trimmed down removing anything not needed.
New tie rods, FLCA’s, and treehouse FLCA bushings.
Gauges for water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure
Stewart water pump. Oil pump nut has been safety wired , E36 328 Steering rack.
The Bad Stuff:
Needs a cage & safety equipment to meet your needs
No glass
Handful of small and medium dents, but the body is very clean and rust free
Still on the factory suspension
The Diff should be swapped out to something in the 3.25-3.45 ballpark
Please email me with any questions, I have a handful of very random spare parts for the car that will be included, and a traq mate that I would sell with the car. I am open to reasonable offers.
Thank you
Matt
