Up for sale is a 325i convertible automatic with only 62k miles.
The story behind this car is that I found it on craiglist a little more that a month ago. I bought it because it had a hardtop and I was looking for one for a long time. Besides it was a good deal.
The car is in great shape, the body, engine and interior reflects the mileage. The interior is clean with only a couple of blemishes on the driver seat. The dashboard is crack free. It has a working OBC but it needs a lightbar. The radio is the original and works (the code card is present)
The A/C is working but it has no heat. The top is the original one (+26 years old) It has a big rip but I fix it with a patch. The top does not leak when driving, but if you leave it outside under heavy rain, it will get wet on the inside letting moisture in. This is not a car to leave it outside anyways.
The ONLY rust spot is around the battery tray and most likely cause it by a leaking battery. It leaks a little (passenger side) under heavy rain.
I have some history of maintenance from the previous owner.
This is a great car for the money and a great start for someone who wants a clean, complete and low mileage car to have it restore to its former glory
The things it needs:
- Shocks/struts ( I can include a low low mileage rear KYB shocks w/mounts)
- Eventually, new top.
- Battery tray rust repair.
- A good home with garage!
