    88 swapped 325is 4200 obo

[B]SOLD SOLD SOLD (HAMMER DROP) thanks for the interest

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have way too many vehicles, and this is a dead end project for me now that I have the e30 m3 shell to build. So it is priced to sell. don't let the low price fool you, this car has a like new engine and drivetrain, this car drives tight and strong. If I wanted to sit on it for a while I'd price it closer to 5500. But it needs to go, like right now, to make way for my other stuff. (just picked up an m60 and m62, hybrid build begins the day this car leaves) So come get it already!

I have done a complete tear down and re-build of the non vanos motor. (The bottom end was like new, and was not machined) Came out of 93 e34. Dave at markert motorworks did the harness for me.
New stage 2 clutch kit (grabs great), shaved oem flywheel, g260 with uuc swap dssr (has tilt for g260 built into it)New Y pipe, ultra quiet resonator and street performance muffler, all ss and all by vibrant. revshift motor mounts new trans mounts, new guibo and center support bearing, new spal slim puller with e34 pusher on condenser. AC car , complete minus pressure hose, interior good shape, dash perfect, sport seats have wear on drivers back, little on passenger sides, Is a factory "is" car, though badge is not on trunklid as trunklid was swpped out. Do still have "is" trunklid with badge, has dent in it. So car has the limited slip diff, sport susp., and spoilers. new is lip. projectors with hid good.
I finished the car last year, and that last little 5% of odds and ends annoyed me, I finally got to most of them, as I now have a new project to build and need the room.
The car has some small surface rust beginning in floor near jack point behind drivers front wheel. And the battery box area has a good case of decay. The rest of the body is rust free, aside from a ding or two with surface rust. the Paint is original, all original panels. The bumpers and mirrors are the only parts of car that are not original paint.

The obc works, the odometer stopped working on the way to the muffler shop to have the exhaust welded in. The car and swap has less than 400 miles since then, 300 of them put on it today. Took it on interstate to meet a potential buyer. Car ran awesome. He test drove it, and I swear to god shifted at 2500 rpm's every single shift. We were in fifth going 40 mph down the street, and he's telling me how fast his e36 automatic was.
Well, I couldn't get him to shift past 3k rpm's and that was that. So I still have the car. For the record, this car would melt the face off any non m e36 with anyone who can drive behind the wheel. The limited slip works in gears one two and three for sure :nice: the proof is on the pavement, and will be there for a while I'm guessing.
Anyway, non e30 people are getting me annoyed, so here it is.
In a nutshell - mechanically new, so much I havent mentioned. I have well over 3k just in new parts. And all of it has less than 400 miles on it.
The car will need some taillight, signal light plugging together, sorting out. Easy stuff that I am not going to f with because I have way too many other things to do, and if you can't handle getting the signals working on this car and getting the warning lights functional/ plugged up. this is not the car for you to begin with. You can get in the car and drive it anywhere right now. not perfect, but a great start. strong mechanically, drives straight, one finger on the wheel at 90. oh , will need tires too.http://memphis.craigslist.org/cto/4027657788.html. -is not working, you can still click on it, and when it says page not found, click on "go to craigs home", and from there put bmw e30 in search, My ad will come up with better pics of engine bay and car.

Images say 'red convertible".Its not, Its a coupe, there was a convertible also in the pics i took, hence the title.

No cat, and no idea. guessing no way. memphis just closed all their inspection stations, permanently. We can now register a car powered by highly radioactive plutonium, constructed of friable asbestos running straight pipes of toxic green gas, they might question the book value vs. bill of sale price, but thats tax income, man. They's gotta kep the citi goin' somehow.

Thats both awesome and sad at the same time.

could not agree more on the sad part. Memphis is one of those cities that has so much potential to be great, but due to decades of horrific/ inept leadership it has been run into the ground. The city is so backwards and behind the times they do things like eliminate emissions and inspections on vehicles while every other city is ramping up regulations. I work outdoors in the heat, and can "feel" the smog in my lungs some days. Sickening.
