-91 318is, m42 1.8l 4cyl
-5 speed manual
-203k miles on working odometer
The Good:
-new timing chain
-new water pump
-new thermostat
-new gaskets
-rebuilt head
-new magnaflow exhaust pipes, muffler, cat (worth about 1,000 alone)
-recent oil/filter
-new air filter
-new spark plugs
-new battery
-new tires all around at 98% tread
-new belts (AC belt isn't on b/c I'm missing a small part for a pulley, but I have the pulley and belt).
-Pulls hard, revs high, sounds awesome. Super fun car to drive.
-All lights work except fogs, don't know why, could be simple, havent messed with those.
-Power windows work
-turn signals work
-horn works
-crank sunroof works
-dash lights work
-paint is in great shape
-AC will blow, just not cold, heat blows just fine. See above for AC belt pulley needing replacement
The not so good:
-It failed emissions recently, it's because of the o2 sensor not being connected, it's there, just no connecting wires present. That's the only engine issue.
-Interior is kinda rough. Front 2 seats are pretty shot but not horrible. You could have em redone for ~200 each or buy seat covers or new seats (these for e30s can be found really cheap).
-Carpet is stained in the backseat from what looks like coffee, but the headliner is good and the sunroof is good. Backseat is totally fine, way less used that the fronts.
-Needs a new glove box.
-1 small ding on front right fender
-1 small spot of rust I recently noticed where the trunk lid meets the body
-Front valence is verrry slightly bent, and missing the lip
-CEL because of o2 sensor, I can show you the code.
Overall, a great car, would be an A+ car if you sorted out the minor issues. I like it a lot, but I have to sell it because I don't have time to replace the o2 sensor, I need to get a car I can register and drive TODAY. I can email you pictures of interior as requested.
Let me know if you'd like to come take a look, I live in East Atlanta about 5 minutes from Zoo ATL.
