      and I got it!

nice little ride - my first e30. I gotta e36 last year and got it pretty well sorted so I needed another project you could say. Engine, tranny and rear end are smooth as glass. Pretty peppy, no smoke. Woulda give my ol 280zx a little run :) As for the rest normal maintenance items. So far,
      • replaced front and rear rotors and installed new pads. Rear rotors were actually cracked. ouch!!
      • replaced rear top shock mounts
      • rewire antenna, straighten so it goes up and down as it should
      • replaced distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs and wires. rotor nub
inside cap was gone, yikes. Plugs were almost carboned closed, jeeze.
      • removed antenna cable ran under rear seat to center console and reran along driver side sill as it should
      • installed new alpine head unit. Existing speakers are ok for now - thanks hellspeaker
      • got new sunroof crank, still need trim cover
      • still left to do, rear windows dont operate, at least front do :)
      • rear defroster doesnt work, one little strand on the bottom
      • check out AC, no heater either
      • rebuild ps pump - kit on it's way
      • replace right rear outer boot
      • replace left front rack boot
      • repaint. (one of) PO's painted 2/3's. Guess not enough paint for doors, ugh!
      • replace dry rotted tires and change wheels
      • fix idle pulse
      • need to rebuild shifter - hits my knuckles on the dash when I shift
      • rebuild injectors
      • valve cover and oil pan leaks

Good thing I like working on them. Just wish the parts weren't so damn expensive, jeeze. Oh well keeps me outta trouble till I get another. Looking forward to the miles and smiles. Gotta get me a respect your elders sticker.
