SOLD.
I'm looking at selling an e30 I've owned since 2005. I bought it as a 318is and already owned a 325is that was rusted out. So, I swapped the 2.5 into it back in 2006. It was my daily driver at the time, and I've gone through it and addressed almost everything mechanical on it and upgraded it at some point.
It's been parked and driven sporadically the last five years as I had relegated it to project status and have been driving my e34 535i since then. I've done a tremendous amount of work to it, but there's still a lot to be done. I've moved to Arizona and the car is still in Kansas City. So, I'm looking to sell it.
The good
- body is solid with no rust
- FK springs with bilstein sport shocks - a full 2" drop
- polyurethane subrame bushings and front control arm bushings
- all rubber suspension parts replaced
- polyurethane rear diff bushing
- sparco strut tower bar
- uuc short shifter
- racetep regrind cam installed when head rebuilt 15k miles ago
- leather sport interior with extra door panels
- stainless steel exhaust
- new master cylinder
- ate powerdiscs with mintex redbos pads
- braided stainless steel brake lines
- runs very strong and drives like it is on rails
- basketweaves with less than 5000 miles on tire
- dash is good and free of cracks
- have other parts to install too that could go with it- volvo lip, chip, big six afm
The bad
- the car needs some minor bodywork and to be repainted - it's alpine white
- prior to me owning it, it was in a minor accident - that is the bodywork that needs to be done, and it's limited to the driver's side rear quarter - but it's extremely minor
- the hood and front fenders were beat up enough over the years that I replaced the hood and have two other original fenders for it that need to be installed prior to repaint
- front seats need to be recovered
- power steering hoses leak right now
- fuel pump works, but should be replaced soon - it's a cheapo aftermarket one that is starting to make noise
It's a good strong drive with a solid body and a lot of work and parts put into it, but it is a project due to needing to be painted and the front seats. the body has just over 200k on it, but the odometer has stopped working. Also, I'm in AZ and the car is in KS. So, I can't take pictures right now. I'll be working through my dad and brother to sell it and get pictures taken.
I'd like $1800.
Pm me with any questions or inquiries. Thanks.
