Some states will confiscate a car if you have an open title.  Be careful advertising on a public site that you are selling a car not titled in your name.

I love all the people who flip cars. If you hate buying from flippers you have about ten states on Craigslist where you can buy from. Those are states where you must meet at the dmv to transfer plates and titles.Comment
