There is no story -- thats just how red cars can be in pictures, especially Imola red. It can look many different shades based on what angle you look at it.

Heres an example with my red e30. Notice how the fenders look a little off too?

There's no way factory paint will be mismatched by a shade from panel to panel. And it also looks like your e30 has had body work done as well.
