Hello everyone, I'm putting my red, manual, 1989 325ix up for sale. I need to get rid of it, school is a little expensive. I love this car but it is time for it to go.
The Good: Put a new transmission in it in January, heated seats work really well, master cylinder was replaced about two months ago. Transfer case intact. Paint is not bad at all. probably an 8 out of 10, little polish and wax and it looks sexy. New muffler. Front window motors work.
The Bad: Well this is what kills me, before i bought it it was hit
the rear passenger side was damaged. The back seats are fine but the front seats look like wolverine got to them. Power steering does not work, accidentally poured break fluid down there...yeah my bad.
one of the fog lights is out, probably just the bulb. It leaks a little bit from the gaskets, typical for e30's. Only have one key. the passenger side mirror is gone, fell off because it wasn't actually put on, just kinda placed there. Rear tires should be replaced. The sunroof crank is broken off, it still opens and closes. rear window motors are dear, haven't looked into it. the left rear speaker is blown, sub and right rear speaker are quite nice, little over kill actually. Odometer is broker (of course) so to be perfectly honest I haven no idea where thats at at this point.
I only drive it to work which is five minutes away, last year I took it to school which was about 45 minutes away and it took the trip fine. It sounds like a shit storm but when you get deep down to it its really a good car. With everything thats wrong for it I'm only asking for 1000 dollars. Don't try to low ball me, I can get about 645 for the scrap itself. Lets help each other out and save an IX from destruction. Just trying to get something out of it. Pictures to come whenever I figure out how to post them. Noob on the forum.
